No matter how many birthdays are going on here, there is plenty of great space in the parking lot for parking. They have a splash pad, and that's where I've primarily gone when I'm here. It's always very clean. They have about 6 different sections of areas where the water trickles or sprays out at you and it rotates around. Bathrooms are conveniently located next to it. There is also a playground alongside of it, so if you are a parent with kids that want to play in the water or playground, you can actually stand in between and keep a good eye on both areas. Swingsets are nearby and what I love most is that they have an adaptable swing set that includes a swing for children with special needs. There is a 3-point plastic harness that locks in, and a large bucket seat to accommodate them. There are 3 ramadas there with roughly 3 large tables in each. Perfect for parties or if you are a parent that likes to sit in the shade and watch your child at play--it's a great shaded area with a close distance to the playground and splash pad. There is a decent-sized skate park by the parking lot and a ball field. Great neighborhood park for anyone and a lot more intimate and quiet than most. Always a fun spot!

Espee Park is located north of Knox Road between Arizona Ave. and McQueen (don't bother…read moremapquest-ing it; at least last time I tried, it wasn't there). The park has multiple play features, including multiple water fountains, a water tower, and a spraying tunnel. There is also a large playground with swings right next to it. Not as many imaginative water features as Desert Breeze Park or Tempe Town Lake's spray pads, but if your nearby on a hot day, it's worth a visit. Note for all you extreme sports enthusiasts: Espee Park will also host the location of Chandler's new BMX park.

Roller skates - they don't have them, but you can do a bearing replacement on cheap skates here and that will spiff any rollers right up. My wife snagged some at the next door Big Five and put some Bones in them; buttery smooth. Longboards - they have some. Mostly pintail shape, not a lot of kick tail styles or cruisers. Pretty limited to a handful. But longboards have been in short supply in general, and they at least have the bases covered. Expect to put in $120-$180 here for a longboard, but a good one. They carry a local brand, White Wave, Sector 9, and Globe. Limited selection, but quality. Skateboards - they can build almost anything. Tons of decks to choose from, this would be their specialty. Not a skateboarder myself, can't weigh in for quality. Trucks - they had some, and they were shiny. I also don't mess with trucks that often Wheels - longboard and skateboard wheels available; not a ton of longboard brands, but several sizes. 75mm OJ, Sector 9 70mm, and some much cheaper local brand stuff. Bearings - they have your classic Bones family, including ceramics. Buy them and they will install them for you. Makes any board feel new again. Not as good of a selection as Sidewalker Surfers but save yourself the pain and just come here, Freedom is a lot better/less toxic/more human.

I did remove my mask for awhile because no one else was around. The restrooms are clean & adequate though the building appears old. It is one long length starting with b ball court, skate area, children's playground then 2 Ramada's with grills and a table. I will stop here again because one of my favorite birds Inca doves were feasting on the ground.

I have been buying and renting gear from Ski Pro since my high school days. I love skiing and have…read morebeen doing it since I was a young teenager. I started out skiing and then briefly switched to snowboarding. I bought my first demo skis from these guys when I switched back to skiing over ten years ago. I finally splurged and grabbed a pair of brand new K2 Mindbenders from Ski Pro a few years ago. I am really digging those skis. Prices here aren't too bad here. You can usually grab some good deals during their blowout sales and at their annual Avalanche Sale that they have downtown. Ski Pro started out in the 80's and has grown to be one of the biggest locally-owned action sports store in Arizona. They sell both ski and snowboard equipment and apparel. They also have a repair and rental shop at each store. Some other action sports gear that you can find is stuff for skateboarding and water sports. Majority of the guys that work here are pretty knowledgeable. I am lucky to live down the street from this Mesa location. Ski Pro has three locations in the Valley. You can buy lift passes here for Arizona Snowbowl. Desert Snow Connection has a bus that picks up and drops off out front in the mornings to take you to Flagstaff.

Super happy to come across this shop as most other shops near my home in east phx area are for mtb, road bikes and e-bikes. this place is for the bmx riders for sure. came in today to get a cog installed onto my profile elite hub as I didnt have the tools or know-how on diy'ing it myself without breaking it lol. staff greeted me almost immediately and wrenched on it, fixed it in less than 5 mins. super thankful and will def be back again to finish my 29er bmx project!
