The first visit where they found the transmission was 2 quarts low

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE TO BUY A CAR. I purchased a new 2025 corvette from Reeder Chevrolet and in less then 300 miles a service transmission light came on. Reeder Chevrolet said to take it to a local dealership. They found that it was 2 quarts low on transmission fluid. After fixing that issue, less then 900 miles on the car the check engine light came on. Reeder said to take it to a local dealership again. They ran the codes and found 3 transmission error codes. I called Reeder Chevrolet and they said they would come get the car. I said I do not want this car with all these transmission issues while still brand new. The general manager told me to go online and order a 2026 because there was no 2025's equivalent to mine available and there would be a $10,000 difference and the tire and wheel warranty, that I purchased separately, would transfer over. I agreed to that number. When the 2026 came in about 6 weeks later I went to Reeder in Knoxville, about a 2 hour trip, to pick up the new car. The finance person came up with a difference of $14,280.81. I asked to speak with the general manager that gave me the $10,000 difference number and of course he was on vacation again. Then I find out they also cashed in the $2,110 I paid for a tire and wheel warranty and applied it to a down payment on the new car without my consent.

Either hire techs that can do their job in a timely manner or stop undershooting service times,a 1 1/2 hour estimate is now at 5 hours.

Always great service, also a bonus to wait with so many corvettes. Parts center is also great help even over the phone.

The man at the store was incredibly rude to me, spoke down to me as if I were incapable of understanding the complexities of batteries. Had to have the mechanic explain on the phone why it was showing "good" but when the car cranked up, the voltage dropped from 12.6 to 4.6 and that was the problem. He then scoffed at me and told me only the store GM could do a return on a battery. So I came back the next day at 7:45 am when she was there, but she then refused to return the battery staying store policy and couldn't understand why I didn't come back to have it replaced, as if I didn't have to tow the car to solve the problem. I can't just tow it to advance and hope that it's the battery, I had to have a mechanic look at it and buy a battery from them so I could drive it. Now I have a battery that I can't do anything with and I'm out several hundred dollars. When I explained that the employees told me that I could return it, she basically told me that that's a bummer but refused to correct her employees mistakes. 0/10 will never shop here again. This wasted a week of my time, I didn't have a workable vehicle for 4 days, AND I'm out hundreds of dollars. Rude employees and useless management unwilling to correct their mistakes, with obvious lack of training/knowledge on any employees part and no accountability. Multiple bad batteries back to back. A scam.

I'm so disgusted by this store I've finally created a Yelp account. Someone needs to remind this…read morestore what your website says about whether you perform an engine diagnostic when the check engine light comes on. Your website says: "Absolutely! If you have a warning or check engine light on, AutoZone at 5723 Clinton Hwy will troubleshoot the issue with our free AutoZone Fix FinderSM service. We'll provide you with a detailed report, whether it's a loose gas cap or something more serious, and recommendations for the most likely fix. The service takes your vehicle's year, make, model and mileage, compares it with routine maintenance schedules and reads the diagnostic trouble codes from your vehicle's computer. The information is analyzed with verified records from more than 5.5 million ASE-certified technicians. The free, custom result report includes diagnostic codes and recommendations for troubleshooting the likely cause and repair." Yeah, that sounds great but this store doesn't do this. Maybe they do if your wearing a tight skirt or showing some cleavage? First guy came out and hooked up the machine, then said it read a cylinder was miss firing. I said okay, what should I do? He said the machine just gives a general idea of the problem, and he clearly didn't want to help by his body language and attitude. I said okay and he went back in the store. After a minute I went back in and asked him if he thought it might be something as simple as replacing the spark plugs. He wasn't sure and said he'd ask the other employee who was certified. That guy came over and wanted to help even less than the first guy! Jesus guys, if you are that miserable at your job and don't want to help people that have auto repair questions move on! Unfreaking believable. So I went down the road to a competitor. Guy was very friendly, hooked up the machine, then we went inside and he read me the codes it gave him, then logged on their computer and looked up the codes with me which gave links to the most likely fixes. Next time my truck has an issue I'll send my gorgeous wife down there I guess. Oh wait, we'll never be back. Move on in your careers guys, you are only hurting yourself in the long run.
