When I purchased a brand new 2025 Equinox RS, I didn't expect for all computer functions to stop working. USB connection, Bluetooth, CarPlay, Android Auto, 360 camera, built in on board Google navigation are all not working. After my 4th warranty trip to West, they've finally agreed to fix the turn indicator (malfunctions and snaps the opposite direction) which they've known about for months but denied a warranty fix because it wasn't "unsafe". They tell me GM is looking into the computer issue and to come return the loaner and pick up my 2025 fully loaded vehicle that I'm paying monthly on, with the entire computer dead. The same computer West Chevy installed after they broke the original one trying to do an update, leaving me in a rental for 2 weeks. So even though it's under warranty, within the first year of purchase, under 12,000 miles, with an already replaced computer that West themselves completely broke, they want me to come get it and put it back on the road. I've had 6 chevy's, 3 of which were new, and have never owned another brand. I was always fully taken care of at previous dealerships and vehicle models. This is my first time dealing with West, and the difference is disappointing.

West Chevrolet just saved me a bundle. I had them do a pre-purchase inspection on a used Chevy Volt. Those are hard to get inspected properly because the hybrid battery needs to be checked out. The first guy that did it (Lemon Squad) said he couldn't get any codes out. Eddie at West Chevrolet agreed to pull the codes for free. Found a whole bunch of them. So we cancelled the purchase and will look for a more reliable car (and salesperson). Thanks again Eddie!

2 days ago we were in a rental car heading back from a weekend in Gatlinburg when we lost air pressure in a back tire. After stopping to put $2 worth of quarters into an air compressor at a gas station, we hit the road but didn't make it a mile until the warning signal was flashing showing that our tire was losing more air. So we pulled into the 1st dealership that was there & the guys at West Chevrolet were SO nice to us. They put the car up on racks within 15 minutes & found the hissing leak where a pice of metal had punctured the tire. They plugged the leak & didn't charge us anything (I gave the tech $20 tho)! Eddie was the guys name who was in charge of handling this process & we REALLY appreciated his help getting us back on the road again. I took a photo of the dealer sign as we were leaving just to remind me of where we were so I could give them a 5 star review, too!

Take my experience with them and save yourself the hassle and expense of what they put me through. I bought a car from Whitehead Auto Sales, Alcoa, Tn, on December 28, 2025. When I drove the vehicle to the bank to get the money to purchase the car, I realized the heater wasn't working. I was not presented with the option for a warranty until after I had paid for the vehicle. I told Austin that the heater wasn't working. He said he would get it fixed. I I told him I didn't need a warranty as long as they would get the comfort system working on the vehicle. He said he would get it fixed. Since it was warm that day on my test drive, we had the ac on, and it worked well. He called the service tech over to set up an appointment the following Tuesday. If they were not willing to repair the issue, I would have walked away from the purchase immediately. The car has been back to the lot 5 times over 4 months to get the comfort system to work. Once it became apparent that the repair might become expense, Robin Whithead advised they would not be willing to repair. I should have taken the technician's warning at Firestone that Whitehead will do the cheapest repair even if they know it is not the proper fix solution. I guess all I can now is sue them.

After calling AAA and having the car towed to Twin City Nissan in Alcoa Tennessee where a nice man named Brown said we could leave it after hours and that they would look at it first thing the next morning. That was so nice, given that we were stuck out of state and were trying to get back home. The next morning we called and spoke with a man named Jodie, who said their diagnostic work showed that we had a blown head gasket. Ouch. That's a huge repair. We decided that we would rent a car to get back home to Atlanta and have the car towed back home a few days later. Twin City allowed us to leave our broken car there for on the lot for three days until AAA came and picked it up. Not only did Twin City Nissan NOT charge us a three day storage fee, but they also didn't even charge us for the diagnostic. (Our dealer in Roswell GA would have charged us $139 for that). They were so friendly and helpful and we can't thank them enough. The kindness and caring nature of the folks here helped make a crappy situation a little better. :o)

They politely offered the same price as online and then when drafting the paperwork, added a $3200 "adjustment" and $1500 for fees in the quote, making the "discounted" vehicle more than sticker. When asking about the mark up, they were honest and said that is their additional profit and that they do not actually sell cars at the advertised price. I went to another dealership and purchased the exact same vehicle without the markup and with reasonable fees. Buyer beware. They will use deceptive practices to mark the vehicle up. This dealership has proven, IN WRITING, that they will change their story, refuse to honor their own offer, and then insult and attempt to intimidate you when you call them out. I was contacted by an employee named Brooklyn on Facebook Marketplace and invited to bring in my car for an appraisal. On October 17th, I was given a $17,000 verbal offer and told it would be good for 30 days. I returned exactly 14 days later -- well within the timeframe I was given -- ready to complete the sale. Instead, they suddenly dropped the offer to $15,000 and refused to accept even $16,000, which I offered in person. When I reminded Brooklyn of the original offer, she did not deny the amount or the date. Instead, she wrote: "i also know that we never say a month, we say 2 weeks." That makes the situation even worse, because I returned on day 14 -- exactly inside that "2-week" window -- and they still refused to honor the quote. She later confirmed the offer had been real by writing: "offer stood, then it went away." That is not a misunderstanding. That is not a negotiation issue. That is a dealership knowingly making an offer, acknowledging it, and refusing to stand behind it. After I left, calmly, without raising my voice or causing a scene, the messages from Brooklyn became openly unprofessional. She attempted to intimidate me by writing: "i sat right here and recorded your whole interaction." She was not present during the conversation she claims to have recorded. Tennessee is a one-party consent state, which means it is illegal to record a private conversation you were not part of and do not have permission to record. So she was either lying as a scare tactic, or admitting to doing something unlawful. Neither reflects ethical business behavior. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: If this dealership truly does have a recording, I openly invite them to post it in response to this review so everyone can see how I conducted myself. I remained polite and professional the entire time. I have nothing to hide, and they already know that. Once the intimidation angle failed, the tone shifted to disrespect and sarcasm. She wrote: "you clearly are having trouble selling it for what you want. what would make you think we would want it at that price..." and finally: "im sorry your feelings are hurt." That is the level of customer service this dealership considers acceptable. I walked in with a clean title, a well-maintained vehicle, and a willingness to sell. I was met with dishonesty, bait-and-switch tactics, and childish behavior when I pushed back. If this is how they treat someone who hasn't even purchased a car from them yet, imagine what happens once they have your money and you're stuck with them. There are dealerships in East Tennessee that honor their word, communicate professionally, and don't threaten or mock customers when confronted. Ole Ben Franklin Motors Alcoa is not one of them. I will never do business with them again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them as well. Full Messenger screenshots are attached to this review.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Rude Sales Management and No Follow-Up…read more We visited this Honda dealership as we begin shopping for a new Honda Pilot. Our goal was simple -- to understand current pricing and trade-in value so we could compare across multiple dealerships before purchasing by the end of the year. Our salesperson was polite, but the sales manager, Joe Jemley, was shockingly rude and dismissive simply because we mentioned that we planned to compare pricing from multiple dealerships. He actually questioned whether they "wanted to give us pricing" on a car and refused to provide a trade-in value for our vehicle. His attitude throughout the interaction was abrupt, condescending, and completely unprofessional. After the visit, I reached out to our sales rep and asked for someone above Joe to contact me to discuss the situation. I was told the GSM, Trustin Hampton, would call me the next business day -- that call never happened. I then called the dealership myself and asked to speak with Joe Jemley's manager, Chris Denny, and was transferred to his voicemail. That call was never returned either. This experience reflects a complete failure of leadership at multiple levels. Joe Jemley's conduct showed a total lack of professionalism, and the fact that no one from senior leadership followed up only reinforces the poor culture and accountability at this dealership. We will not be returning, and we strongly recommend visiting AutoNation Honda or Rusty Wallace Honda instead -- their professionalism and customer service were exceptional and a night-and-day difference from what we experienced at Airport Honda.
