The rules are strictly enforced for the safety of everyone at the range but Wednesdays is mostly Veterans/Ex-Military and skilled shooters so there aren't any issues of unsafe firearm handling. If it's too cold or just really bad outside, go right into the building next to the pits and use the indoor range. If you need ammo, you can get it there. Visit at least once a month and your dues will more than be worth it just by the value of training alone.
