And, said the pool that has been in place for over 20 years needed to come down for them to repair the line. Said, "no thank you, I will call Jackson". Called Jackson, they repaired the line and left the pool alone for a reasonable price. I have called them numerous times for different properties, and have always felt good about their work, prices and people. They don't fluff or try to sell you anything that isn't about moving water in or out of your home. I WILL ALWAYS CALL JACKSON PLUMBING!!!!

While the subcontractors they use are skilled and professional, the management side of the company caused repeated delays and unnecessary frustration. The biggest problem was working with Tony Land, the "superintendent" . In my experience, he showed no urgency, rarely communicated, did not follow up on open items, and barely visited the job site to check progress. Even the subcontractors expressed frustration because they were often left waiting without direction or scheduling. Several items still needed attention, and there was zero communication about when they would be addressed. Oversight from his supervisor, Nate, started off responsive but quickly faded. Once the project was underway, accountability seemed nonexistent. It felt like, after signing the contract, timelines no longer mattered. The office staff also seemed more focused on payment releases than ensuring work was completed before requesting funds. Communication from the office matched the same lack of urgency. On the positive side, Jeff Elliot in sales was great to work with--professional, responsive, and helpful. And again, the subcontractors themselves did excellent work when they were actually scheduled. The only reason my project finished in six months was because I lived on the property and stayed persistent, constantly pushing for updates and questioning delays. If you are not able to be on‑site or stay heavily involved, expect the project to take much longer.

A few weeks ago, I reached out to Scott Hess at TK Constructors to inquire about building a home in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Scott was pleasant and professional during our initial interaction, and he promptly followed up with information about their homes and building process via email. He also responded to my initial reply. However, after that exchange, I stopped hearing from him. In my reply, I had mentioned that there didn't seem to be many available home lots in Lafayette and asked if there was someone else I could speak with about building in another part of Indiana. Unfortunately, Scott did not respond. I followed up with a voicemail, but again received no reply. In the meantime, I reached out to one of his colleagues in Ohio, who was very helpful and professional. I let that person know I had been in contact with Scott, as we were still considering Indiana for our retirement home. I mention this only because I don't know if it may have had some bearing on the lack of follow-up from Scott. Regardless, I made another attempt to reach out to Scott via email, but still received no response. I don't know what happened, but I find this lack of communication unprofessional. If you've had--or are currently having--a similar experience with this builder, I encourage you to share your story. It raises the question of whether this company selectively chooses who they're willing to build homes for, which would be concerning.

The sales rep was professional and did a great job in measuring correctly.. I can't say same for budget blinds up north (different store-region). The salesman didn't try to upsell us and listened to what we were looking On the day of installation, I believe his name was Bill, installed all the blinds by himself. He would only bring I couple of sets at a time and remove the packing from the house until he was ready for the next set. He kept the house clear of clutter and did an excellent job doing the install. Bill was professional and polite. I highly recommend. Blinds are high quality and are reasonably priced. The only negative was the time between order and installation which is on the manufacturer end. Due to the nature of blinds they were manufactured in two cities and one manufacturer was backed up. However, to the Budget Blind salesman's credit, he made it clear of the wait time when we ordered.

Overall, an excellent experience!…read more Before purchasing our bed, I telephoned Bedder Way with questions, and the customer service was great. My call was answered promptly, the person I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and cheerful. There was a delay in the bed's arrival, which left us scrambling a bit because we had broken down and gotten rid of our old bed in anticipation of a timely delivery (no room to get the new one in without the old one out). That said, the delivery folks kept us informed about the progress of our delivery. On the day the bed did arrive, the driver was very kind and careful with the handling and placement of the very large (!) box outside because it was too big to deal with inside our tiny home. It was a challenge opening the box and unpacking the bed parts, which was a decidedly Good Thing. All of the pieces were expertly and very solidly packed using wood and solid/strong styrofoam(?) pieces to prevent any scarring or scratching of any of the components. The directions for putting the bed together and installing it were very detailed and useful -- and my oh my, it is so comfortable - much more so than our former bed even though we used our existing mattress. We sleep on it every night, often closing it during the day to give us more room, plus it keeps the bed nice. I am small and 70 yo and can easily handle taking the bed up and down. There are two slight challenges: one is remembering that the legs at the foot of the bed stick out a bit when the bed is open, so it can be tough on your shins if you aren't mindful; the other is changing the bed -- it's a bit difficult (but, of course, doable) to get the fitted sheet on at the top of the mattress because the enclosure does not leave a lot of room to maneuver; and, caution is needed when one lifts the bottom of the mattress to put on the sheets and tuck in the bedding because the bed frame pops up in an effort to close because there is no weight on it at the moment. The only disappointment was the lights, which are add-on purchases, and not built into the bed itself. The "neck" on one of them isn't sufficiently stiff to hold the lamp in position. That said, it was not enough of an issue to bother Bedder Way about it, and we are managing. :-) [Bedder Way saw our review and sent a new lamp!! Another feather in their cap!] All in all, the Bedder Way Murphy bed was the perfect choice for a senior couple who radically downsized and moved into a tiny 1930 build duplex to be near family and within walking distance to all the necessary amenities (stores, medical offices, public transportation, etc.). We are now considering a Bedder Way side cabinet when we are able to manage it. :-)

She forced me out of a place I was in for about 5 years over an exterminator. I had my own exterminator that they gave me permission to use then changed their mind after I've been using my own exterminator for about half a year and they wanted me to start using their exterminator and pay for it after I had already spent several hundred dollars already and they charge more then a real exterminator. After I moved because my lease was expired I had paid rent for that month and all but I went ahead and moved out half way through the month I called Tisha and told her I left the key in the place and that I wanted my deposit back. She claimed she'd never received a phone call or anything and she charged me for the following months rent even after I told her I have witnesses and everything that I was not living there and she never removed at that charge. I haven't had an issue since. If we were ever late on rent I called them and explained and they worked with me every time. I'm very grateful for the opportunity they gave us. Maintenance was a little slow, they could improve the times a bit more, but all in all I have no problem with them. Tisha (I think that's how you spell it) has always been kind to me when I spoken with her, no issues at all, she is very kind and understanding. [And before anyone makes accusations saying I'm a employee of CPC or a family member of any sorts, or a person being bribed etc etc....I am not. I'm just giving my opinion, and what I think.
