Our experience with Capt Brian could not have been any better. He went above and beyond to put us on fish, and it was the best charter experience we have ever had. Despite the weather conditions, he knew right where the fish were and we had our first fish within minutes of leaving the dock. From a tackle shop owner's perspective, his attention to detail is second to none. He has the cleanest, most organized, well kept bait cooler I have ever seen. His tackle was ready to go, all with fluorocarbon leaders, clean rods and reels and spools filled to the top. This is not common in the charter industry. Capt. Reelistic Fishing Charters located at Wanchese Marina met and exceeded my guys lofty expectations of fishing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. After a hot breakfast sandwich from the Marina we set out for a half day inshore. The boat was comfortable and dry. We had plenty of room on board and it had cooler space for everything we needed for a great and successful day on the water. His equipment is top notch and well cared for. He went above and beyond to put us in the best position for success with safety as the #1 priority. 6/13/2023 My wife, Grandson and I fished with Captain Brian and had an amazing experience. The tide was running hard and the wind was not the best however Captain Brian turned it into a great day. The boat is amazing and is equipped with a brand new side scan sonar that allows him to see the fish holding on structure. This allowed him to locate the fish so we were fishing in a productive area that was holding fish. Technology is amazing in the hands of the right person! I have always fished offshore however, the cost makes is difficult for me now. This trip is perfect if you want to get out and enjoy the beautiful area of the Outer Bank and catch a variety of fish without breaking the bank. We caught speckled trout, flounder, bluefish and had a wonderful time. Captain Brian is a Professional! He is great at providing instructions and advice and has a very pleasant personality. We just finished an awesome day of fishing with Captain Brian!! Not to not did we catch a ton of Sheepshead and Speckled Trout, we had a great time just talking to Brian. Brian was ready to go when we showed up at the marina and had a game plan put together based off the weather and water conditions. He gave excellent instruction on how to cast for the different fish (I don't have much experience with this type of fishing) and kept us moving to where the fish were. There's a place to get your fish cleaned at the marina and Brian had a bunch of recommendations for places that will cook your catch for you. We just had our 7th fishing charter with Captain Bryan on The Reelistic. Once again, we came home with fish in the boat. Bryan is always prepared with bait and equipment. He knows where the fish hang out, and is willing to move around to find them. He is pleasant, patient, sociable and a great teacher! For us, booking Reelistic is a no brained! Third time I have fished with Reel-istic and I will do it again and again. Yes we caught our limit of drum and had fun catching other fish (Trout, Flounder(threw it back) and other smaller bait fish. The Captain is one of the best and knows the sound very well. In fact the three trips we went on we did not fish the same spot twice. Each trip was very successful and very enjoyable. We definitely loved our family trip put with captain Brian, we enjoyed fishing and we got to dig for clams. It was fun for adults and my children who range in ages 17 through 12.
