Absolutely horrible customer service and a very disappointing experience. During an energy audit, my hardwood floor was damaged. I also discovered that the technician moved my security camera from the window to a table without asking. This was captured on my security footage. When I raised these concerns with management, I felt they were dismissed. The manager told me he believed the technician's account over mine despite the video I provided. I also informed him that I intended to leave an online review. During our conversation, he responded by saying, "I'll sue you for defamation." And, " I can't wait to see everyone on Reddit laugh at you" That response made me question whether customers feel comfortable leaving honest negative reviews after receiving that kind of warning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I encourage anyone hiring these contractors to have security cameras and to document the condition of their home before and after service. In my opinion, moving a customer's security camera without permission is a serious security concern. Xcel's website has a list of companies you should use I'll provide a list below. We purchased our first home last year in this crazy market (was a flip). For some reason our living room could not keep cool in the summer or warm in the winter (which is where are thermostat is located). The upstairs was okay, and the garden level was okay. But we could not figure out what the issue was. First we thought it was the old HVAC unit. Nope. Then we thought the ducts needed a good cleaning. Nope. I hired ReEnergize to come out for an energy audit. I was skeptical of their solidly excellent reviews but figured I'd give them a shot (I've been burned by a lot of home improvement companies in Denver). It was easy to schedule and the guy who came out to do the audit was prompt. We received our report several days later and I was amazed at how detailed it was. We learned that the back half of our house was uninsulated (which explains why it was so cold). We decided to hire ReEnergize to do all the recommended repairs. Again, scheduling was easy and Quinn answered all my questions. The guys showed up to do the work and were right on time! They laid down drop-cloths to keep our house clean and were very mindful of their activity in our home. They had to drill numerous holes in our ceiling due to no attic access but to my surprise, they patched all the holes and it looks flawless! I originally hired REenergizeCO to do an energy audit of our house to figure out how to best improve my house. My experience has been so great with them that I've had them complete several insulating and window projects on our house and everyone I've worked with has been stellar. The energy audit itself was detailed and super useful in understanding what the best options would be for our particular house. As part of the audit, they also helped me through cooling options and referred me to a separate whole-house fan company that I ended up using (and was also very happy with). For insulation and air sealing work, REenergizeCO had recommendations for our house and offered up a quote for them completing the work. There was zero pressure to hire them to complete this work, though, so I appreciated that I could have just used them for the energy audit. But I did end up going with REenergizeCO to complete all our insulation work, and I was super happy with the results! They really helped seal up our house, communicated well throughout the process, and made the Xcel rebate process totally seamless. Things have been noticeably better from a heating and cooling perspective, so we're super glad we did all this. After that first great experience with REenergizeCO, I also began talking to them about new windows to better seal up our covered porch. They went above and beyond in researching what window options would work best for our specific situation and be best for plants we have out there. Their window prices by themselves were competitive with other quotes we got, but I particularly appreciated that they helped think through how to best seal up our porch in other ways (and what was realistic to expect since it still is just a porch), so I really like their bigger picture outlook on optimizing our home energy's use. The window installation itself was fantastic. The installer was a joy to work with, and truly did great work in dealing with the oddities of our old house where everything is uneven. Our attic desperately needed insulation and after a lot of thought, we chose to go with REenergizeCO. I waited a few months before I wrote this review because I wanted to go over our electric bill and see how well our AC could handle these 100 degree days. I must say our house is significantly more insulated! Our AC could only keep the house at 76F if it ran constantly, whereas now it can easily keep it at 71F. Our power bill has gone down at least $20 if not more. The insulation was fast, painless, and no mess. Also we get a rebate from Xcel for using an authorized insulation company. They came out, properly diagnosed the problem, and blew in new insulation that solved the problem. But wait, there's more. The builder would only reimburse me if I provided evidence of a defect. After I paid these good folks, they bent over backwards to immediately provide pictures, invoices and other evidence I needed to get reimbursed. And they already had been paid. I fully agree with the prior reviewers. Their preparation, attention to detail and Process can't be beat. But, let's talk about results. During prior severe arctic fronts, the main floor was difficult to keep at 72. And, we could barely maintain 65 upstairs. Since ReEnergize Colorado worked on our home, the main floor retains 72 easily. The second floor has gained two to three degrees. It now is up to 67 to 68. That is a significant improvement in comfort. To put icing on the cake, the furnace runs much less. We highly recommend ReEnergize Colorado. read more

We can't speak highly enough of REenergizeCO. We got three quotes to insulate the attic in our 1963 ranch, which had only 2 inches of insulation -- from 1963. Ugh. REenergizeCO was punctual, responsive, answered every question we had via email or phone and did a great job. We got quotes from three different companies. The first just provided a quote via email and didn't come out to look at our attic. The second was 15 minutes late to our appointment without calling, couldn't answer our questions about the Xcel Energy rebate process -- and then he said he would send us a quote within 24 hours. It took three days and two phone calls from us to actually get it. REenergizeCO, on the other hand, showed up on time, and their representatives were super helpful and informative. They gave us our quote then and there. Although they were a bit more expensive than the other two companies, we asked if they could match the other quotes. They gave us a small discount, which brought the cost down almost to the other quotes. Although the price was still *slightly* higher, I very much wanted REenergizeCO to do the work because I was so impressed with their customer service. I felt confident they would a) show up b) show up when they said they would and c) do the work properly. They did all of that. The crew arrived on time, they were polite and professional, and they treated the house nicely (they put down mats on the hardwood floors to walk on and cleaned up after they were done.) They did a blower door test and also guaranteed that we would get the $300 Xcel Energy rebate, either from Xcel or -- if something happened and we didn't pass the blower test -- the company would rebate the $300 itself. They also took care of the entire rebate process, including filing the paperwork. We got our Xcel rebate about a month later. Quinn provided a detailed budget proposal, which included a line item breakdown of all the options. He guided us through where we were going to see the greatest impact for our money. Quinn was professional, timely and articulate in his responses, and instilled complete confidence in using his team for the job. The team who arrived to do the job were professional, kind, respectful and also articulate in explaining the process and who was going to be doing what. They also responded well to me throwing a couple extra things in for them to do after I realized I had forgotten to tell Quinn about two additional air vents which needed to be removed, sealed and dry-walled. These guys worked straight through the day, no breaks, until the job was done. They cleaned-up after their long day of hard work and walked me through for a final inspection. I was shown pictures of the attic, confirming the level of insulation they had blown-in, and was amazed at the ability to match the texture on the ceiling after they had patched the air vent holes (from an old swamp cooler which we had removed) with dry wall. After the job was done, a final blow-test was performed and immediately we saw a 26% improvement.
