They were unbelievably friendly and helpful in explaining the process and what to look for on the my SolarEdge application. Then I reached out to them for options as my system was on 2G, which was no longer being supported. Again, Apollo helped me with options and explained the pros/cons of each option. I went with the 5G upgrade and Zane came out and efficiently and professionally upgraded the system's software/hardware. From the first encounter to the final switching on of our system, they provided incredible service. Communication was outstanding. After speaking w/ the sales rep, we got a deal worked out for a slightly larger system at similar prices. They even offered an incentive to switch to them from the previous provider. I recommend Apollo to anyone considering solar. We met a rep in January 2024 at the Loveland home show. I'd thought about it for years but didn't want to endure the sales process. Joe was the rep who worked with us. There was NO pressure at all. He simply presented the facts. We considered it for about a month & then decided in late February to go for it. I was kept informed throughout the process. Apollo did everything. I didn't have to do anything with the city or power company. The system was installed over 2 or 3 days in mid-April. The weeklong wait afterward for the final city inspection before the system was activated was torture since I wanted it turned on right away. The system was activated on April 30. Since then, we've had 2 electric/gas bills where we had a net surplus of almost 500 kWh each month. Our first payment was made on July 15. Very pleased with a story! Our solar system was installed by another company who went bankrupt within a few months after the installation. Our whole solar system stopped working within two years. Long story short, we found Apollo Energy! They helped us transfer the system to them, replace the damaged inverter under a warranty and they repaired the loose connection on the roof panels. Their electricians were very respectful, great communicators, and quick with their repairs! Their office, AMAZING! I appreciated the great communication, clear understanding on what was being done, when, and how much it was going to cost. Went with Apollo Energy in 2017 and couldn't be more pleased with the service and performance of their products over the years! Just came out of the 2024 hail storm in Denver with 2.5" diameter hail. Not a single panel of our 29 panels broke! Roof sustained damage but the panels, made in Texas, by American workers, held strong and our system continues to provide uninterrupted energy. We've been installed since February. The install took a few days longer than expected due to weather. That was no big deal. We wanted the installers to be safe and not risk injury. I selected Apollo Energy to install my solar panels because they were more affordable and provided a better product than other solar companies.  In addition, they were not pushy and did a great job of detailing the process.  All of the Apollo employees were prompt, courteous and the project was completed very fast.   Although I could have financed the project over 20 years with monthly payment similar to my Xcel bill, and still received the federal tax deduction, I chose to pay for the panels. I was ecstatic about my $10,000 tax deduction and for over a year I have not had an electric bill (Woohoo). The slowest part was waiting for Xcel to connect to the system.  Unfortunately, Apollo cannot control Xcel.  I also used Apollo to remove and reinstall my solar panels after the horrible May 8, 2017 hail storm. They again proved to be the most affordable, and the fastest option. I thought it was amazing that although my whole roof needed to be completely redone, NONE of the solar panels were damaged.  I have a 25 year warranty for my panels. read more

Very disappointed in the customer service. Set an appointment with a door to door saleswoman a week prior to appointment. Apollo called to confirm appointment three days before the scheduled time. I called back to confirm, and we spoke about only having a couple of data points from Xcel since we just bought our home in April. The appointment was confirmed at this point. The same woman called back later that day and had me confused with another customer, but again confirmed my appointment. Our appointment was this morning at 10:00am; we received a call at 10:30 from the same woman saying that no one would be out because there wasn't enough data from Xcel on our energy usage (the same thing we talked about 3 days ago). She apologized for the late notice, and said she should have called yesterday. This company needs a more competent customer service representative and/or better business tactic. Extremely frustrated we sat around waiting for this "top rated" company. One mishap is one thing, but I can't trust a company that has difficulty time after time- especially one that you are locked into for years. read more

Installed our system last year. After installation, Our energy bill was running $300 plus the cost of the solar loan each month is $150. We were told the system would pick up in the summer and yes it reduced the cost but not like what was explained to us. The installation was completed but then system was not even turned on properly for 2 months due a an oversight on their part. I have spoken with Sun Talk and Apollo energy multiple times and we are still paying more for our energy and solar loan every month than before we had solar. The system is inefficient and they have not followed through. Do NOT get solar it is a scam and will cost you more in the long run. We wish more than anything we could give back the entire system and pretend it was all a bad a dream. They have promised return calls and to resolve the issues but to no avail. DO NOT get solar...especially from these folks. You will be left with a higher bill and a solar loan and no one to help you resolve the ineffiencent system. read more

Apollo did an incredible job of allowing me and my wife to go solar on our home in Johnstown. We were initially hesitant to choose a new and small company, but the speed, flexibility, responsiveness and attention to detail made Apollo the best choice for us. You may be asking why we chose Apollo over a more well-known company, like Tesla. Frankly, I felt that Apollo wanted the business more. Tesla is a big company and that can be intimidating. They basically told me, "Here is the system we drew up for your home; take it or leave it." It was a totally different experience with Apollo. I worked with John throughout the entire process, and I loved how much he let me customize everything. He allowed me to pick the panels I wanted and even upgraded the inverter so that I could easily add additional panels in the future. He was always extremely responsive, and from the date we signed the contract to when the panels were actually installed was just 3 weeks! From what I've learned about other companies in the area, this is extremely fast and I was very excited to have the system up and running so quickly. Oh, and they accommodated me when I requested adding one additional panel one week before the install...wow! I will say that I did have a few hiccups and disagreements at times with Apollo, but in the end, they resolved everything to my satisfaction, proving that customer satisfaction is a high priority for them.
