I called earlier and scheduled an appointment and they provided a window of when they would come. They arrived and quickly got to work. The process was quick and the cost was about the same as it was 5 years back! Glad it wasn't too expensive otherwise I would've had to call someone else. I will say I was unable to pay with a credit card (said their machines weren't working) so I had to write them a check (no biggie on my end). I could not have been more…read moredisappointed when receiving the text so I had to sit on my yelp review for several days before posting. In all fairness, I was out of his service area but he knew this when accepting the job. I knew this when calling him. I thought he was located in Mt. Airey, which is only an hour from my home, and we all know the DMV, an hour is not unacceptable when considering the overall traffic in our area. It should never have been a surprise at the 11th hour. I even texted with them that morning and prepped the house by moving all furniture clear of the windows. I was fully prepared to give him a hefty tip (although he obviously did not know this) as I was so excited to give a young kid, trying to start his own business, an opportunity. And, of course, super excited to get my windows cleaned. My home is all windows, he was doing both inside and out, so the work was substantial enough to justify the commute, which is why I thought he accepted the job weeks before when we communicated about my home, its locations, and what services I was purchasing, which was everything he offered, so I was all in. I should only give him one star but can't bring myself to ding him that much as I know how important yelp reviews and ratings can be. I can obviously provide no input to his actual work. He conducted himself very professionally right up until the cancellation. I could not be more disappointed with his choice to choose convenience over commitment.
