I'm catholic but that had no bearing on where I would go to feel God's in my heart and meet good people. After I saw and learned more about PVC, I decided to Introduced my grand children to church. Service's are set for adults service and different age groups children services. This way all are enjoying and understanding what they are learning/hearing. PVC is very welcoming. Every initial service may not meet your needs that day - but PVC is a place to go for many reasons. Since the pandemic they've worked to get back to a somewhat norm. If you cannot attend in person you can attend online. If you're attending on time or a little early you'll have the opportunity to be greeted by many. After service it's another chance to meet others. Yes, parking can sometimes be crazy but it's a huge lot and they are working in extending it. People attend church and running a little late you can change your parking preference. I'm no expert but I have experience what happens when I'm late . This week fun fun fun PVC summer camp. The musicians had passion for their craft but it was TOO LOUD for us over 65ers. The spotlights with steam coming through was excessive. Too much flash. The sermon was very good, and we appreciated God's word being preached in a professional and measured manner. This is a prosperous church, for sure. This is the first church I've ever been to that charges for coffee. PVC has a cafe near the sanctuary. When we asked about Bibles, the info desk said we could buy them at the cafe. Maybe they thought we meant the Bible reading plans. PVC is reaching many young people with their concert style services, but I wonder how deep the peoples' faith develops in such places and how else they are involved in the mission of this church.

Then right before the message started we had a staff member come and publicly embarrass us in front of others around us by saying we must leave right now due to our dog. Coming in we were welcomed with our dog explaining that he is an emotional support animal and that he has just had surgery 2 days prior. We are unable to leave him at home due to his 6 staples in his leg. Instead of the team coming up with a solution they just kicked us out. I asked if I could speak to someone about this and they quickly declined and didn't even give us another option. We weren't allowed to listen to the message not even outside we just had to completely leave the premises. Walking out the door there was an 8 person team standing there waiting for us to leave like we were some threat and they just watched us walk out. How embarrassing. To say we are extremely saddened and disappointed is an understatement. Every other church we've gone to with this 7lb puppy has never had a problem. Safe to say we are not welcomed back here unfortunately. Such a bummer. I would seriously not recommend a church less. How awful you have no solutions and you're not allowed to speak to anyone, you just don't care about your guests and kick them out. Because of this expiernce its affected us going back to church in general that we will be kicked out again at another church and caused us to feel as if someone is always watching to judging us like they did here. I came here to celebrate the life of an uncle, pastor literally said "everyone come up and tell your stories but please keep it short, I have a football game to go to" It was not a joke, it was 100% serious, I halfway expected cameras to come out like we were on some prank tv show but nope, this guy literally just told us to hurry it up so he could catch a game, at a funeral - and then somehow found a way to make every story he told about our lost loved one about him. A room full of crying people and he can't help but talk about his golf swing, every single person was offended at the utter disrespect. He sang two full old hymns and then COMPLAINED that the widow wouldnt let him sing three... to a room full of grieving family... and to top it all off, toward the end of the service he decides this is a great time to tell everyone one day they are all going to die and they need to repent, I'd suggest he worked on his arrogance and his ego and dropped the narcissism before he ever speaks on behalf of god again.
