Just another poor review for Cedar Cross Overhead Door…read more.. First of all the young man that installed the door was superb, I wish I had his name and could offer him a shout out. On the other hand, here is the rest of the story... I paid in full ($2,474.88) for the garage door on January 17 and scheduled an installation for February 28. I called two days before the installation was scheduled and confirmed that everything was on track. Yes was the reply. I took the morning off in order to be on site during the install. The night before the install was scheduled, I was informed that the door components were not there and the install needed to be rescheduled. It was rescheduled for March 27... Really. By the way, I got one remote with the garage door ( I guess this is normal?). So, I called and talked to two people at the Overhead Door office and asked if I could get another remote. Oh sure, you betcha, no problem. What is your address? We will get one right out to you. Sure enough three days later I got another remote!! Yeah! And then a few days after that I get an invoice for $49.99!!! for a ladder, apparently that's what they call a garage door opener remote.

Had a new ceiling fan installed and another one replaced. They were very quick to provide an…read moreinitial estimate and performed the work early the next week. One hiccup was that the person who did the estimate said he'd be doing the work, but misjudged how to implement the new install and wasn't there on install day. Two different people showed up on install day and noticed right away it couldn't be done the way the first person thought (also didn't seem like it was communicated to them what we needed done in general, so I needed to explain). They were very quick to troubleshoot and come up with a solution though. They did everything, including putting the fans together out of the boxes, and got the job done quickly and at a fair rate. Very friendly and treated everything with a sense of urgency. The new fans have been working great and will definitely keep Biechler in mind for any future projects. Highly recommended! I think if they work on the logistics/communication between the estimator and people doing the work, it will make their job go even smoother. Fortunately, they have some great problem solvers on their team.

Once we made a decision, Knautz's promptly sent us an estimate. We sent in a payment and everything was installed very quickly. The work was professionally done and there were no cost overruns. We found the prices very reasonable. They also coordinated their work with the plumber (we were getting a new sink in the bathroom and kitchen) and the entire project went very smoothly.
