I've had a few facials in the past and each time I've received some sort of shoulder or scalp massage along with it. I assumed this was standard. Mary did great work on my skin, but when she put my mask on, she just went and sat at her desk for 10 minutes. I'm not giving her a negative review of her skin treatment, I was just disappointed there was no shoulder or scalp massage to go along with it.

She barely cut his hair- he asked for more off and she took very little more. He said it was fine- he was just ready to leave and I could see he was not happy but he didn't want to be rude. So, while I felt he needed more cut off and shaping done I too chose to just pay so as no to embarrass him or cause a scene. I also thought I'd be paying less. I go to pay and was charged $42 for a maybe 15 min TRIM (total time with some combing was around 20 mins)- no wash (he said he didn't need one). I was shocked! I asked if that price was right and was told that the company sent out emails saying the prices had gone up. I don't recall getting one but I've only been there once before. I went back there because my first visit he got a wash, condition and cut for around $25 before tip. Today I got FAR less and was charged nearly double. I left no tip and won't be back after that price increase. Full transparency- I didn't ask prices (I thought I knew them), she did have to comb through some tangles; but still was able to manage that and trim his hair all in around 20/25 mins all done. I'm super frustrated and honestly sad because it's hard to find good bi-racial hair care and we just had such a pleasant first visit.
