He takes great care in listening to you and in explaining his diagnoses thoroughly. Earlier this year he diagnosed that I had a retinal detachment in both of my eyes. I saw a retinal surgeon who confirmed the diagnosis and performed the surgeries two weeks apart. While the recovery took nearly 3 months, I still have my vision. My vision after the healing process was completely changed (I could see but everything more than a foot away was extremely blurred) and Dr. Hartman explained the reasons why and fitted me with a new pair of glasses that have finally allowed me to see clearly! You do not appreciate things until you lose them and for about 2 weeks after the second surgery I was effectively (completely) blind. It was scary and frustrating! I have a new respect for eye health and making sure I do everything possible to maintain healthy eyes. Dr. Hartman has earned my respect and trust and I do not hesitate in recommending him to anyone looking for high quality, professional eye care.

This was the worse eye doctor appointment I have ever had trying to charge me $185.00 on glasses…read morethat were covered fully for 1 complete pair......she does not represent herself well , no bedside manner , communication skills lack .....Would not send my worse enemy to her..I have been wearing glasses for 35 years and have never experienced anything like this...the one positive note is her assistant does her job well but did seem uncomfortable with the boss knowing she was ripping people off .......If you want good eye car don't go to her if you do I can recommend a drunk somewhere who can give you the same care as she will for free.........Anywhere has got to better than this place Totally dissatisfied Customer

I finally got insurance to cover eye exams, able to get free frames, but was told by this doctor…read morethat the frames I really liked and thought looked great on me, were too old for me. Noticed the price tag. Wow. Imagine that! This pair has to be paid for. This doctor has no class. She is rude. When the other employee told her that there was a phone call and should she tell them to call back, the doctor immediately jumped out of her chair where she was in the middle of giving me an eye exam, and ran to take the call. That is rude! The place is always empty. Now I know why. I believe she does not know what she is doing and appears to be very unsure of herself. The other employee was very knowledgeable and friendly.

My surgeon, Dr. Julian Procope, was amazing--his calming disposition immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely confident in his care. The doctor who examined me initially, as well as my follow-up physician, Dr. Stoltz, were equally wonderful. Dr. Stoltz took extra time to walk me through my options, especially helping me decide between corrective vision and monovision. What stood out most was that he allowed me to experience what my vision would be like ahead of time, so I could make a truly informed decision without pressure. That level of patience and education meant everything. The office manager, Mrs. Parker, was also fantastic--she patiently went over all my paperwork, answered every question thoroughly, and made the administrative side feel seamless and stress-free. I would highly recommend LasikPlus, especially to anyone in their 50s who may feel unsure about whether LASIK is worth it at this stage of life. For me, it absolutely was. I'm so grateful to be done with years of contacts and glasses and to step into this next chapter with clarity--literally and figuratively. If you're on the fence, I encourage you to explore it. I got my LASIKs in April 2023. I don't regret my decision, I just dont like how LasikPlus handled…read moremy particular situation. My procedure was performed by Dr. Conte. I met her the day of the procedure. She wasn't rude but she surely wasn't friendly. During the procedure, I felt some pressure and slight lifting in my right eye. I figured it must be apart of the process and didn't think anything of it. 3-4 months post op, my right eye was still blurry. I went back for a visit in which I was told it's just dry eyes and to apply drops. That didn't help. I went to my eye doctor who put me on steroid eye drops and nothing. Still blurry. I go back again to LasikPlus and they refer me to a dry eye specialist. The dry eye specialist, informed me my right eye is slight dry nothing exciting. He explained dry eye typically occurs in both eyes not just one. He recommended, I follow back up with LASIK plus because I would benefit from an enhancement. I contacted LasikPlus with this information and informed there is a process. If they feel like you qualify, you'll get the enhancement and if they don't well you're SOL. If I would've known the process with LasikPlus would be like this, I would have gone somewhere else.
