Scott and Justin were very pleasant to work with, stayed positive while troubleshooting the issue last week. They ordered the parts needed to fix it while keeping us updated throughout the process. We live in Concord, CA, and it gets very hot out here. Once they ordered the parts, they scheduled a follow up appointment ASAP. Unfortunately, what should have been a standard shower remodel turned into an almost month-long nightmare of careless workmanship and deeply unprofessional behavior. The Workmanship Issues: Major Errors: Installed the wrong color tile and failed to relocate the drain as requested, which completely ruined our desired shower width. Careless Details: Left holes in our closet, used a sideways screw in the handle plate, and mismatched a chrome showerhead with a brushed nickel arm. Unprofessional Management: When I addressed these issues with Justin, he was dismissive and defensive. He actively tried to silence me, even stating, "You are a small job, we are working on $200k projects right now, so you got my hourly employees." Later, he offered a partial refund in exchange for a signed settlement and NDA. When handing over the paperwork (which he had promised days prior), he casually admitted to pulling a random agreement off Google and not reading it. While Justin did offer a response about fixing the mistakes, it simply did not suffice. No minor repair could make up for the sheer disruption this project caused, including missed time at work and lost weekend hours with my family. Having managed multiple major home projects over the last 11 years--including electrical, solar, pool installation, and painting--I know what a red flag looks like. I am certain we are not the first clients he has tried to silence, and given his high online ratings, his tactics have likely been successful in the past. I am sharing my experience to protect fellow consumers and save you the stress and endless advocacy required to get basic, quality work from this company. I would much rather warn the community than accept his meager refund. I just hope you won't be his next victim!
