Do not. I repeat do not goto any Refresh Dental office. They are terrible. Especially Dr. Petrakas in North Lima. And the Poland office. Started off with being lied to by a Poland refresh dentist. Stating that he was an oral surgeon. He extracted two teeth very barbarically. The next day I needed to be seen BCs of pain, bleeding and infection issues. They refused. Had to jump through hoops to be seen in Boardman. Again, still had issues. Ended going North Lima at Dr Petrakas office(refresh dental) I still needed more work done that was going to be under anesthesia at a local surgical center, on a Monday morning. The Friday before, there was a major family Emergency. The office was closed. No way to contact the doctor. The surgical center was notified. They canceled. But there was no way to contact the Dr. , I mean dentist. Even through medical dental bureau. The issues that needed resolved had to be done under anesthesia. I rescheduled thinking everything was fine. When I called to confirm. (Again very hard to get a hold of even during business hours). I could hear the Dentist in the background saying if he wants it done. It's being done in the office. I don't care about his broken jaw and neck pain issues. I was then told that "I had already canceled the appointment but then lied to again and said the dentist wouldn't see me BCs I missed surgery. I was told to F off. And They are not worried about a lawsuit. Do not go to this conglomerate dental establishment. The staff is extremely rude. Except for one office manager in Boardman named Mary. I ended up at a real oral surgeon. And they couldn't even get through to refr she dental to get My latest X-rays. Stay far far far away from this place. I will be filing a lawsuit for malpractice as i already said. One dentist referred to himself as an oral surgeon. He was not. He wasn't anything more than the elf from rudolf the red nosed reindeer. I will yelp review them everyday for the rest of my life until they are shut down permanently. If you need extractions in Youngstown. Goto Dr Billie or Wagley. Spent 15 minutes on the phone trying to make an appointment and had to call back to verify insurance information before an appointment could be set. Then after we had the appointment (I thought I scheduled a cleaning, turned out it was just an exam which took about 5 minutes- waste of a trip) they told me they couldn't get my insurance information and made me pay out of pocket $200! It's like I was scammed. I will never go back to this place! Save yourself a trip and just flush your money down the toilet from the comfort of your own home. read more

I would recommend Dr. Petrakos to anyone. He is an amazing guy and a great dentist! For anyone that wants to be sedated... this is your guy. I work with dentist every day and I still refer my family and close friends to Dr. Petrakos. read more

They never answer the phone I have to call multiple times to connect to someone. Have not heard good things about any of the refresh dentals. Got a tooth pulled and felt the whole thing!! Told the dentist and he did nothing about it so i sat there in throbbing pain and they couldnt get my tooth out..so never again. read more

I've had a terrible tooth ache and called to make an appointment. I didn't get an answer so I left a message. I'm still waiting for a call back. I also went to them for the first time and thought I would get a complete checkup and cleaning. I had to make another appointment for my cleaning. I had to leave work for both appointments. They are great about verifying appointments but not on returning calls. Mouth pain is awful and I needed treatment ASAP. read more

Find another dentist before going here. I had a painful tooth and wanted it pulled. the dentist said he would not pull it. so he said i needed a root canal and i was quoted a price that was supposed to include the crown. I was sent to another dentist for the root canal. then i was charged the whole quoted amount there then told i had to go back to refresh dental to get a cap/crown. so i go back and the remove the temporary filling that the endodontist put in and charge me another amount. then i ask them what will my total be for the rest of the procedure. she quotes me a price. meanwhile my tooth breaks. i go in for my appt and get a TEMPORARY CROWN and told i owe hundreds of dollars more than what was quoted to me. before the dentist touched my tooth i told him i would only pay what was quoted and he said ok. apparently not because of the bullshit at the desk. so i call up there to clear this up with the dentist and im not allowed to talk to him because its not a private practice!!!!!! wtf? this place is bull now idk what im going to do ????? read more
