E's device countered that, my teeth have corrected, my bite normalizes quickly, and I sleep much more comfortably.

Dr. Goles is extremely knowledgeable, he's friendly and fun, and he truly cares about you and making sure you have the best treatment plan!

I had my meeting Dr. Goles on August 21st to review my sleep study. His staff member who reviews…read moretreatment options and pricing was out sick that day. But I was told she would contact me to discuss within a day or two. I reached out to Brandi Norum (his patient relations coordinator) on 8/31 via email to remind her that I was still waiting for that call. Brandi responded to my email on 9/5 and assured me that their financial manager knew that I needed to be contacted to discuss. It's now been a month since my meeting with Dr. Goles and I have still not been contacted by his staff person to review my options. A few other things to note about my experience: When I called to make my initial appointment and left a message, I didn't receive a call back. So I called again a few days later and scheduled my appointments. Which they then ended up rescheduling the evening before one of them. When I went to pick up my sleep ring I was asking a bunch of questions about the process and his staff member said "didn't you watch the video"? She realized that she never emailed it to me and so she did that day after my appointment. She called me later realizing that she had never sent me the patient paperwork to complete either. Overall it was a poor experience and very costly. Their office is an hour drive from where I live, and I spent close to $400 out of pocket but with no conclusion. Other notes: a few weeks after I scheduled my appointments I started to receive vm messages asking if I wanted to schedule an appointment. They were finally following up from my initial vm and apparently hadn't realized I was already scheduled. Also, the doc felt like my sleep results were so different every night that it was slightly challenging to make a diagnosis. He asked if I wanted to do another sleep study that would show my positioning to see if that would help to more clearly diagnose. I declined since I wasn't prepared to spend more money on another sleep study. Dr. Goles was nice and I felt like he was honest with regard to how their potential offerings may or may not be beneficial in the long term for me. Especially since I was concerned about a device that would move my teeth that are perfectly straight from expensive orthodontia. He also estimated that my potential options would likely each cost around $2,000 more out of pocket. Again, the financial person was supposed to reach out to confirm and offer next steps which didn't happen. I let my doc that referred me here know about my experience and also asked him to share it with Dr. Goles. I find that sometimes good docs just have bad office staff. But regardless I don't recommend investing your time or money here.

Terrible communication, left a patient without medical equipment…read more I explicitly cannot recommend the Sleep Study Lab at this facility. I was sent here by the VA for a mandatory sleep study on December 20th. I drove 50 minutes to get here--bypassing clinics closer to my home--because I was told it was necessary. My current CPAP machine is broken, and the staff knows this. I have been without therapy and without sleep for weeks while waiting for these results so the VA can issue a replacement. It has been nearly three weeks. I have called multiple times. Most recently, I called yesterday morning and was promised a nurse would call me back by the end of the day. No one called. If you need urgent care or results, do not go here. The lack of follow-through and customer service is unacceptable for a medical facility.T

Totally unacceptable. The doctors are good but so overworked you can't get an appointment with them…read morefor several months, if that. Follow-up appointments are very difficult to get because of too many patients and too few (overworked) doctors. Communication efforts with MAs are impossible. They frequently misunderstand and blame the patient when they get things wrong, which is about 90% of the time. Had some really good providers there all of whom left because of being overworked. Some PA's very good, caring people, others are control freaks. They need to put the patients first and hire more doctors, and give them a reasonable caseload. Overworked doctors cannot provide adequate patient care, and given NJH is supposedly the best respiratory hospital in the country, the Sleep Clinic is a joke.
