This was my first time here with my church. I wasn't sure what to expect. But when I arrived I was very surprised at how beautiful the view was and how many things there was to do. Dining hall was very spacious. Every group or family is assigned a table. Then you line up and get your food. It's buffet style. The food was delicious. A+ food. You could tell it was freshly cooked. Not made from a frozen food company or anything like that. This was the menu for the weekend. Friday night we had beef and chicken tacos with the usual salad option. Saturday for lunch we had French fries (made from a potato not frozen), chicken patty, veggie burger and salad. For dinner we had mashed potatoes with beef flavored gravy, fish fillets, rolls and salad. For only fifty dollars you can go zip lining and do the obstacle course. I did the zip lining for the first time. At first I was scared because it looked higher than I thought. It's a great beginners course. A V shaped course. The instructors are awesome and give great instructions. They're super friendly. But I had a great time. Would definitely go zip lining again. I tried the obstacle course but it wasn't for me. They also have a small zoo where you can see Hawks, horses and an owl. The owl was my favorite. Such a cute little bird. (I'm from the city so I don't see owls very often) The hotel lodges are very spacious. Inside your room you have one bunk bed and two queen sized beds. A place to hang your bag or jacket, A sink, and a mini fridge. The bathroom is small but that's fine. You also have an air conditioner/heater. They have a cafe where you can get milkshakes and other snacks. Also a mini gift shop. Outside they have swinging benches and a playground. In the summer they have a big pool If you come with your church they have a chapel and a gym for you to worship and play games. You can also request to do a camp fire with your group or family. I will definitely be back in the near future.

Refreshing Mountain Christmas Lights Experience-This was our first time coming here and we really enjoyed it! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The trail was well lit, easy to follow and beautifully decorated with Christmas music piped in. We enjoyed following the Christmas story and I especially liked the trail with the Christmas reflection/prompts. We didn't do the obstacle course or zip lines, but will definitely do it next year. Thanks for a great time!

Refreshing Mountain Retreat exceeded all expectations! The serene setting amidst Pennsylvania's natural beauty was a perfect escape. The accommodations were cozy, the staff incredibly friendly, and the activities abundant. Can't wait to return for another rejuvenating getaway!

Christmas Lights Walking Tour: Welcoming and kind staff. Clean and easy to walk trails. Our group of 4 enjoyed following the Christmas story through the lights. This will be a family tradition. ~We can't wait to go back for zip lining!

Great day trip ,fall adventure. This team was amazing. From first phone call, to everyone on staff we encountered. We arrived ,booked a package in less than 5 min. & were in harnasses 10 min later. These guys were great. Thoroughly explained to our family every step of the way. When one of my girls chickened out, they were patient & gave alternative runs. She is Autistic & they just kept rolling with our constant changing needs. All said & and done, my husband & 1 daughter took all the zip line runs, while my other daughter & I did the tiered obstacles. Perfect for all different ages in families. The grounds were just beautiful.

This was the best Christmas lights I have ever seen. Beautiful walking, very Christmas atmosphere. 4year old grandson loved it. You won't be disappointed.

Exhilarating!! Recommend to anyone and everyone! I had the guides Matt and Ryan. They were so very patient with the scared, yet trash talking person that is me. They explained everything clearly and were knowledgeable. So very thankful for them. They helped make the entire experience so much fun. I did the obstacle course that went along with the zip lines...I did it! It wasn't pretty. I wasn't quiet. But I did it! Everyone, from the check in lady, to my guides were so very nice. The facilities (everything that i saw) looked clean and kept well. There were people there and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I want to do it again!

And they have a fridge stocked with water and sodas in their game room for guests! We had breakfast in their dining room on our last day there and it was so delicious! This B&B is absolutely the definition of R&R! it was exceptionally peaceful in ways of sleep, comfort, and no one interrupts your peace back home or here!. The customer service is amazing! Kate(innkeeper), Brenda, Amy ( make your delicious Breakfast) if known in advance they make your breakfast specific for your dietary needs. The Caramel French Toasts & Baked Apple with maple granola on top was my favorite !!! . They all make your experience very homely and relaxing your entire week!. We ordered room service which you can choose that or dine at the table which most of the guest did. This was mine & my loves 1st B&B now it's his Go-to lol. When we arrived it felt like a super cool Mission-esq movie where you get an envelope from a old school phone booth with your name and 2 pieces of paper in it telling you (to proceed to your next mission lol jkn ) the ins & outs of everything. We got the Amaryllis Suite! the beds were overly comfy and soft guaranteed easily a wonderful sleep!. The closet had the soft robes and extras if needed, you honestly didn't have to leave your room unless you wanted a beverage!. The deck was nice any part of the day! The set up was so nice it was perfect for a romantic night dinner outside (but the wind was too much so we took it inside). The Jacuzzi was Hot, bubbly and sooo soothing (they provide you with the correct items to use, you can't bring/use your own stuff in the jacuzzi). The Vibe all around was peaceful , I even caught the Beautiful Sun rise from start to bloom!. It's no Hesitation I'd come here again and recommend it although I'd love to keep this wonderful Gem to myself! The secret of its amazing peaceful experience is already out of the bag!!. Next go I'm going to the Amazing outside Activity Amenities Wolf Sanctuary (Yes real ones), Barry's Classic Cars and several spots where the locals go ! The Exchange for Crab Beignets and Rooftop!!. See y'all in July for a week also!!

Initially when…read morelooking for a place, it took 3-5 days and me calling back several times to get someone to call me back and set up an appointment to see the rental properties. We qualified under their terms and then put our money down for a place. They said we were approved on their end but then the owner came back and disapproved us. They never said on what grounds this decision was based. They did explain that ultimately, the owner decides. Then, Keith worked diligently with me to include texting and calling me back late in the evenings to accommodate seeing the other properties until we finally found one. What I don't understand is the following: Why requests to see a property like some others on Zillow do not have appointments we can schedule ourselves on availability. Why they wont let us put our deposit down on a home we have not seen if we know we want that home. Its cash money people haha. Lastly, when we finally found a place we wanted. they sent our documents via email which is great. I wanted to clarify something in the lease in writing but the docusign does not allow that. Since we are 2 signers, they would not accept a pdf with the added language. I was finally able to get something via email confirmation to the lease and use docusign. Another issue we had was that the home did not have a garbage disposal. They said the owner would not allow us to put one in and pay for any maintenance. Not sure why?? Makes no sense to me. These should be negotiable items. So far, I found the ladies in the office to be very pleasant. That's definitely a feather in their cap. Will update once we move in and state whether the carpets were cleaned well and the minor fixes were done.

If this is how this company treats prospective tenants, I can only imagine how they treat actual…read moreresidents. On Friday, 6/26, my partner and I scheduled a showing for Monday, 6/29 at 4:30 PM. We were specifically told that no earlier appointments were available, that we were the first people scheduled to view the apartment, and that we would likely have the opportunity to rent it. Based on that information, we both rearranged our work schedules, found coverage for our shifts, inconvenienced several coworkers, and lost income just to make this appointment. Then, just five hours before our scheduled showing, we were told the appointment was canceled because someone else had already rented the apartment. The cancellation itself was frustrating, but the way it was handled made the experience far worse. When I expressed why we were upset after taking time off work and losing wages based on the information we had been given, the Leasing Manager working on Monday, 6/29, told me they didn't understand why I was upset and that this was "just the process." If that's truly their process, it's a process that shows little respect for prospective tenants' time, commitments, or finances. A simple acknowledgment of the inconvenience or a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Instead, the response was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely lacking in empathy. Our time, our income, and the effort we put into rearranging our schedules apparently meant nothing. If you're considering renting here, be aware that even a confirmed showing may not mean much, and don't assume the company values your time the way you value theirs. There are plenty of property management companies that communicate honestly and treat prospective tenants with professionalism. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this one.
