I love being part of this community of courageous welcome! The coffee is good. The people are lovely.

A friend told me about this spot when I was visiting Atlanta - ended up going every single morning of the trip!! Fantastic coffee & even better prices. I am counting down the days until I am back in January! Their bakery was also delicious and staff was so friendly. I loved their little booths, felt private but cozy!

It's just what I need for a focused, and productive morning. Booths and a working bar that faces outward toward the Woodruff Arts Center courtyard. Plenty of outdoor seating, and outlets o' plenty. I honestly couldn't ask for more when I want to set up my laptop and have a solo or group work date. The staff is very kind, too. I love knowing that refuge has a job training program that actually empowers their employees. Then of course the chai and the pastries are on point. While I don't deviate from the usual very often, everything I've had has been reliably tasty. Without question, they'll see me again. Pro tip: Nab some street parking if you can. It's the cheaper option.

I've been to Refuge Coffee more than 5 times now! I'm such a regular and realized that it's a time for a review lol. The staff is always nice and make great coffee consistently! Their matcha is also very good! I usually add a lavender shot to my matcha, which make the drink even better! My boyfriend and I have great memories here. I also like that they have private booths so that I can do work sometimes. Overall, I encourage you to pay them a visit!

Ease of ordering, yummy snacks ! Enjoy my quarterly visit to the high museum and found myself hungry. What a great place to stop for a light bite and some coffee or tea. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor tables. The prices are fair considering we were in Midtown. I'll be back.

I love the mission behind this shop but their coffee is not the best in my book. The staff were nice but there was also only 2 people in for the weekend, I think they are busier on the weekdays. I think this is a great set up for people to be able to set up and get some work done. There is mostly booths for seating so it is somewhat private but it isn't the place I'd go for the best coffee in the area. They do have food options from pastries to lunch salad and snack foods, it's really nice to have this shop in an area near all the office buildings in the area.

What a delight to have supported this business who's also giving back to the community by providing job mentorship and training to refugees and immigrants. As an immigrant myself, I would 100% support this place. It's conveniently located just a few steps from High Museum as well. Not a lot of indoor seating but I grabbed and yo my coffee. I ordered one of their seasonal items - Dulce de leche cappuccino and it hit the spot.

Cute little spot that's hidden but very close to a lot of places. They had pastries and snacks. Lots of coffee and drink options. Didn't wait long at all to get our drink. Minimal seating inside but there are a lot of spots to sit outside.

Refuge is a cute little coffee shop attached to the High Museum. I felt like grabbing a nice iced latte out, so I walked over to check them out. This place is a no frills kind of coffee shop, but honestly, the Lavender Latte I ordered was perfect. Just the right amount of syrup to milk/coffee ratio. I didn't get a chance to read all of the signage, but my understanding is that Refuge is attached to a non-profit mission, which I'm always a fan of. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Next time I come back, I look forward to trying a pastry, and I plan to bring my laptop for work.

Tried the Chagaccino, very good!! Tasted just like a latte.

Tried the chagaccino- very good! Tasted just like a latte. Went when it was pretty crowded, and service was still very quick! Highly recommend

Had an unexpected day in Atlanta due to a late night cancelled flight, and this place was exactly what I needed. Ordered a mocha latte and chocolate croissant and enjoyed them at the outdoor tables. They were both excellent! (The chicken salad sandwich I got to go was also very good!)

I ate here a few weeks ago during UPS Second Sunday. Luckily the line was not long at all, and there was still seating when my friends and I were there. We did sit outside on the patio (despite scorching temperatures), but they do have an awning so there is a little shade. I just got an everything bagel with cream cheese. It's nothing to the likes of Brooklyn Bagels in Ansley Park, but it served its purpose - a.k.a. my hungry belly!

My partner and I are on a mission to try all of the coffee spots in Atlanta. Refuge had pretty decent coffee although mine didn't taste as good as his even though we got the same thing. We both got oatmilk lattes but mine tasted a little watered down and slightly burnt. His was delicious though. We also got an almond croissant which was pretty tasty. I think mine may have been a slight fluke so I'm interested to see what their other drinks taste like. The coffee shop is in a cute little area of Midtown right next to the High Museum of Art. There is plenty of seating outside and it would be a really great area for coffee especially on a day with nice weather. Be warned, there is not a lot of parking around so it may take a little bit to find some street parking.

I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. I'll be back to enjoy the great coffee and good vibes!

She was so friendly and also gave great suggestions from their menu. She was the only person working because we came in the middle of the day. There were a decent amount of customers but the service was quick and efficient. I have to give her her flowers, she was the icing on top of a great experience. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. Parking can be difficult in midtown so be mindful of that when visiting. Definitely a great place to study and get some work done if needed. Happy Eating!!

When I look for a coffee shop to newly get addicted to, environment is very important to me. So the concept of this place -- Store where there is quality coffee in the corner. It would be amazing to have the opposite -- an amazing coffee shop with quality things to buy. Until that happens, I'll appreciate this though. They focus on New Orleans/Louisiana style drinks for their signatures, but they have all the lattees and fancy macciatos available for the coffee snobs like me. I enjoyed their New Orleans style coffee and it was a good blend of spices yet not too strong. My cousin got a cappaccino which had pretty coffee art. This isn't the place to go if you're on a type of diet needing to alter ingredients to make it fit. Just throwing that out there. Their New Orleans style coffee comes pre-made. They have other options, but don't try to get their signature items. Note, they do have seating. Like one table and some bar stools, but that counts right? I don't believe it was near an outlet to do some work, but it wasn't too busy. I would ask a study group to meet me here, but it would be risky since there is not a lot of options if another group is already there.
