Pretty disappointed in the service on a Friday afternoon - we ordered a blueberry matcha croissant and for the second, we asked for a rec but instead the staff just listed off what they had which we were aware of without answering our question. We settled on the matcha cookie. The croissant came out pretty quick but our cookie took forever - waited 20 minutes when we literally saw cookies right there. After checking in with someone they checked in with the person helping us and they said they left it in the oven to be warmed and forgot about it in a rude way. We had limited time for parking so after getting the cookie we quickly ate our treats and left. The croissant wasn't very buttery and felt a little stale. The matcha cream was good though. I had heard a lot of good things about this place - so last weekend, we tried this lil cafe. We walked in around 11 and it wasn't too busy. We ordered a creme brulee croissant and a matcha soft serve. The matcha soft serve - in the first impression, looked glorious (but tiny in portion). It tasted really good! The matcha to sweetness ratio was perfect. Also- after trying it, I realized that the portions were perfect. Unlike a traditional soft serve, this one was rich. Had a work event down here early and stopped by here to kill some time. I love this place as an Asian cafe with unique flavors that I haven't had for a while. Momo Cafe is located on top of Mononoki, its restaurant counterpart owned by the same person. There is paid street parking right out front, but the garage deck next to it provides 2 hours validated parking. Upstairs, there's even a water glass station, The seating area could be more decorated. It looked a little lackluster and plain. Before the restaurant opened, the only seating that was open was the upstairs cafe area which had 4 circle wooden tables and three ish wooden chairs that faced the window. It's a pretty small area tbh. There's about one outlet between two circle tables. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of space. When the restaurant opened, there was so much more seating, but a lot of people come here to study. There's some outdoor seating under a tent if the building space gets too packed. I got a strawberry matcha latte, and it is as good as the hype was. It was made from real strawberry puree and tasted fresh and sweet. The chocolate yuzu croissant was delicious and flaky. read more

A quaint little cafe filled with college students studying. It's a quiet spot, with bright lights. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was pretty busy for a Sunday, but that's to be expected because it's near Ga Tech's campus. I got in the bakery line and ordered the strawberry croissant and attempted to order the Sweet Potato croissant, but was met with the "We are all sold out of the Sweet Potato!" Bummer. The barista tried to make some suggestions, but I came specifically for that. No one cares about Sweet Potato, like they do pumpkin spice, so I was so excited when they shared this. I was disappointed, but I took my strawberry croissant and sat at a table. The cafe is very casual and busy. The vibe is very chill. A random waiter came and offered me a water to have with my croissant. The croissant was flaky, buttery and the cream was not too sweet. May need to get it heated up next time. I liked the matcha latte--there was good matcha flavor and it was nice and toasty. I haven't been to this restaurant in two years, and desperately craved it. Thankfully I live closer now, and it is within reasonable walking distance. I grabbed an order before heading to a movie night in Suwanee, and the staff was super understanding & respectful of my time crunch. From the cafe, I got the classic strawberry matcha latte, the matcha croissant, and the caramelized onion/rosemary croissant. As you can tell, I am a matcha lover. By the time I got to my event, the matcha croissant was slightly sticky but it still tasted great. The other croissant was a special flavor that I thought was delicious. From the sit-down menu, I got the tamago sando as I wasn't in the mood for ramen and I didn't want to get meat. Little did I know there was a bit of wasabi sauce in the sando, so I was surprised by some areas of the sando. Outside of those areas, I thought the taste was decent. Another one of my go-tos. I definitely think they have the top 2 best matcha in Atlanta. Today I tried something new! Their mocha was pretty good. I asked for half sweet and it was still a tad sweet but still good. Their coffee was pretty good as well. They have so many food options. I tried the edamame and their salmon rice bowl which were both excellent! As far as seating, they have plenty of options both inside and outside. If you will just be having coffee/tea and pastries; you can sit in their quaint upstairs section and hammer out some work. Their employees are always accommodating and service is great.
