Oh this is a bakery that's worth fighting downtown Atlanta traffic & multiple Peachtree roads! We came for boba teas after a show under the big top, and we discovered so much more! This is a bakery with a super cool selection of international cakes and collectibles. Japanese cream cakesC croissants, sweet-filled buns, on & on. It looks like quite a few items sell out, so it can be hit or miss if you have a favorite. We got our boba teas, a tiramisu, strawberry cream cakes to satisfy the sweet tooth(s), but I was so excited to see a chicken korean BBQ sandwich that I had to get one! OH-EM-GEE!! I will be back to the sandwich alone!! It didn't take too long for the hot sandwich despite it being nearly closing time on a Saturday. The staff was helpful, friendly, and very accommodating. The diner itself isn't fancy, and the tables could use some consistent cleaning and clearing. You get plastic tableware and napkins on your own. Such a cutesy and quaint bakery/cafe. I've been to a few that are styled similar, where there are displays cases upon walking in with shelves of individually wrapped goodies. You can grab a tray and choose what you want from the cases. There's all kinds of sweet and savory breads, mochi and other Asian-inspired sweets. And then at the back you can order coffee or cold desserts like cake, tarts or cheesecake. Everything was so delicious and felt like they really put thought and love into the delicacies. I got the Carmel brûlée it was delicious. The custard was perfect, great balance of sweet and "tart". I wish I could've went back and tried more items. I also got a hot chai latte. We came here because my son who has Asperger Syndrome visits this place one a week. It's his consistent spot and he wanted his family to visit his bakery. It's a very cool spot. This is honestly one of my favorite chains to visit when I'm in Georgia. The menu selections are always spot on. And the quality and pricing are always pretty consistent. Idk if this is a hot take, but the bolo bao I've had here might be the best one I've ever had. At least for bolo baos that haven't been made fresh right before my eyes. Such a cute sweets shop! I visited Sweet Hut last month (Oct 2025). I will definitely return! I went in for bubble tea and decided to buy the (last) matcha donut instead -- such a good decision. It was delicious! The icing was not overly sweet and the texture of the dough was soft without being soggy. I haven't had a donut that good in a long time. The cafe ambiance is nice. There's a dedicated sitting area with various arrangements of tables and chairs. Many people appeared to be there studying or working. Others just stopping by or dining in while enjoy the day. There is a pretty extensive drink menu as well as a food menu of small plates. I look forward to returning and trying some of both! read more

Stumbled in while exploring this city and must say this was a great stop for a quick treat. Tried the Vietnamese iced coffee, red bean bun, and Portuguese egg tart. All items were on the sweet side but tasted fresh and had good pricing. Also ordered the lemongrass crispy pork bao and that was a great size for a light lunch. I came here to pick up some treats for a stay at home date. They had a pretty decent selection considering how late in the evening it was. I ordered a matcha drink that was a little too sweet and had too much going on in it so I know next time to ask for less toppings. This is one of my favorite Asian bakeries, I will always make an effort to visit Sweet Hut if I have a chance! The taro cake is one of my favorite cakes ever, I highly recommend trying. The cake is so fluffy and moist, and the flavoring is rich with taro and NOT TOO SWEET (which is the best). The taro milk tea is also very rich and creamy, I got this at 50% sweetness level and it was just enough for me. The chicken curry bun is very savory especially when heated up in the microwave! Such a big space bustling at 9pm when I visited for a late snack. The service was nice and efficient. I really enjoyed the Portuguese egg tart and the brownie. Unlike similar NYC bakeries, it stays open later, which is a pleasant surprise. They also have warm prepared foods, such as salt and pepper chicken (friend). I wanted to stop here before heading home for a quick pick me up. I'm glad this place has stayed and thrived throughout these years. However, I was quite disappointed during this visit. Maybe because it was a Wednesday night, like less than an hour before closing, but half of their pastry section was empty. They had some of the stuff I was looking for so I grabbed them. I've had many mango buns and red bean mochi bun but these didn't do it for me this time. The mango bun lacked the mango flavor and tasted more cheesy than mango to me. I haven't tried the red bean mochi yet but will update my review once I eat it. I did, however, enjoy the Sweet Hut milk tea that I ordered. I got this with 25% sweet and half ice with lychee jelly. It came with so much lychee jelly that added sweetness to the drink itself. I can never remember if they validate parking or not since we used to live in the area and would just walk here. It's free parking at the deck for up to 10 mins, but my tea took way too long to make so I ended up paying $5 for parking here. The joys of the city, amirite?! read more
