Movie theaters can deliver a somewhat premium viewing, but they all have cons. This movie theater is no exception. However, what sets this place apart from the competition is the price and luxury for that price. I've been to a lot of movie theaters and this one by far is one of the most comfortable seating in the house. The small swing table is a plus and for the price you pay. It delivers and then some. I absolutely love this movie theater for what it is. The CONS...yup......it a bit sloppy at the register and depending on what your watching. The crowd can get a bit noisy. Overall, I love this joint for the purpose it was meant. I do recommend it, as this is on the luxury side of entertainment and $16 is about right for the best seat in the house. It was afternoon and James Bond movie was being premiered in USA on October 8 th and Regal Cinema had sent email about it. Being Fan of James, James Bond I downloaded the App and booked the ticket via it for it . "No Time To Die" I could have booked other movies also via this app. It was a long long time May be 2015 ? after seeing last 'Spectre' Bond movie at this theatre .. things have changed drastically as there was no line few people handling booking and concessions. I had my pass on my iPhone vallet and since being late for the show I walked right away to cinema 12 location . No one asked me no one was there to verify the ticket. I walked in to cinema auditorium and went to my seat based on location. There were already few people there. Due to afternoon show at 2:15 pm !! Yet I really enjoyed the movie. Seats are adjustable via side bar area controls.. with my legs up snd back adjustment I had relaxed mode. After the show used Men's room which was emasculated clean.. Cleaning personnel wearing masks were all over the theatre are cleaning floors doors and also I assume seats after we left .. good location read more

My husband left his cell phone on the theater seat tray. We left early because the movie was terrible. When we realized it was missing, we returned a few minutes later. I asked to retrieve the phone and was told I would have to wait until the movie was over (2 hours) by the kids working the counter and they also asked the manager on the walkie. I asked if someone could walk in with me, they said absolutely no. It was a very expensive phone and had personal information on it. I was so angry I walked out told my husband and he went in to talk to the kids and they allowed him with an escort to walk in to get it. So, when a woman asks it's no but a man its yes? Not the first time the children running the counter have been rude to us. I won't return for a long time. Maybe this is why sales are down? read more

Wow! Regal is quite a bit different than the multiplex chains I have home in NJ. Great, comfortable, large, reclining seats with terrific tray tables. Spotlessly clean, everywhere-concession area, theater, bathrooms. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Not expensive by suburban NY standards. I came here again to watch the next Star Wars movie, and again I found this place to be a really good deal. The seats are comfy, I love how they have assigned seating so you don't have the rush to wait in line for an hour in hopes of snagging a good seat. The prices for the food were high (I guess they are everywhere). However, I am knocking them down a star because on a Saturday afternoon on Star Wars opening weekend they only had a couple people working the concessions stands I had to wait about 10+ minutes to get popcorn. Take me to the movies! This is the only theater I care to go to in Broome County. Maybe it costs a little more than the other place, but it's worth it! First of all, comfortable stadium seating! In addition, the seats are actually safe to sit on-they aren't in a state of disrepair. The floor isn't sticky and the restrooms are clean! Well let's start off with inside. My wife my kids and I had an ok experience watching sonic. The movie was great. The seating wasnt very comfortable at all they didnt recline back much. After the movie I went outside with my wife and 3 kids we walked up to my car and I noticed a heroin needle on ground next to my tire and another one stuck inside of my tire(and my kids seen this). We went to get the manager and he was as rude as can be to my wife saying "were not responsible for the parking lot we rent it, it's not ours, and we don't have cameras". So the cops had came and the manager was rude to the sheriff to. Moral of the story not a place i will ever being my children again and if your smart you wouldn't either. read more

Recently saw the Joker there. I was extremely disappointed at the lack of an active ticket kiosk. It was there- just no one was sitting there. We were told to wait on the concession line to get tickets. It was painfully slow while we waited for people to buy popcorn and candy. We were told "someone quit" but they lied- it's like that very time. Is this business so fragile that it can be thrown into disarray because ONE person didn't show up?? The movie was dark, and the sound was painfully LOUD. The seating is great. The recliners are comfortable and nice. BUT both our seats wear visibly greasy. Sickening. I had to use my coat sleeve before my Lady could sit down. It wasn't always like this. And my HDTV is really really nice. read more

Decent theater. It's relatively clean and has comfortable seating. It's definitely a more modern theater. Ticket prices aren't too steep either - I only paid about $25 for two adults and a kid. The popcorn here is pretty fresh and tasty. If you opt for a large (which is pretty massive), you can get a refill for free. And definitely ask for butter on your popcorn! read more

Once in awhile I do commit to seeing a film that is NOT foreign. It's expensive to go to the movies in my opinion. But I enjoy the entertainment on the large screen and the surround sound as well. Regal seems clean enough for such a large place. Although at times the lines are very long to buy a ticket. There is a machine to use for this same purpose but often times its Out of Order! People tend to buy tickets from one staff member selling them behind the counter when there are two and three people to chose from. Don't ask me why...popularity perhaps? I would rather spend less time in line and more time viewing previews and that real phat roller coaster simulation. There is ample parking, but watch out for the late movie arrivers.....they will run u over and flatten u out if u get in their way. the best movies of the year come out after the Thanksgiving holiday so many I'll see u there, no wait,,,,I'll see a movie there. read more

I remember coming here when this place first opened and seeing countless movies over the year. Going to the movies is something that relaxes me and lets me get a way for a while. This place doesn't an alright job of it and I think its about too get better. The theater is overall very clean and quite large as well. Great parking and everything is easy to access. Prices are movie theater prices. Still has the lovely nostalgic video arcade on the inside. Over the years the popularity of this place has declined recently due to other theaters being renovated and upgraded. Thats part of the reason that I stopped going here as much. Although it is so much more closer to my house, the comfort isn't quite there. I usually end up coming here more when I want to see a movie and the time is more convent to me. Which in the last 3 or 4 years has maybe been twice. On my last visit though I noticed that they had signs up saying that they will be renovating soon. After being there and (mostly) untouched for the better part of 17 years it could surely use it. This really excites me. If its gonna be was good as I think it is then I might be coming here more often! read more

Regal underwent some improvements recently. They upgraded to reclining chairs to try to compete with the AMC on Vestal, although still not on par, it was a huge step forward nonetheless. The theaters are clean for the most part, and staff is friendly. I started coming here a lot more ever since I heard about their $5 Sunday deals. Super worth. I have the Regal's card so whenever I come, I buy the tickets and have points credited to my rewards card. I never actually used the points yet, but one day I'll be able to get a small popcorn or something for free. read more

This is one of those fancy theatres where you get to reserve your seat and they recline. I like this one because there's enough room between the aisles that you can recline and people can still get through without you moving. The one ding is that it was $23 for two people to see a movie. Then another $13 plus for a small popcorn and small drink. That's the price you pay for the fancy seats. The girlfriend likes the fancy seat theatres, makes her feel like royalty. read more

I concur!!! This theater is a little out of the way from me but is the only theater I go to. Whenever I go to Loews, I end up needing a major back massage. Here, the seats extend past your head leading to a most pleasant movie theater experience. The food is expensive, but isn't that normal? Still, $7.00 for popcorn is kinda ridiculous. read more

Regal Cinemas always offers a clean theater, with a good quality showing and good sound, free of the technical problems that plague some of the other theaters. Theater staff is quick to act on problems, too, which is another bonus. The stadium-style seating is a definite plus for those who are short and always seem to end up with the 7foot guy sitting in front of you! In the last year or so, the staff has went from "friendly and perky" to just "friendly," but at least they have a good idea what customer service is there. I like this theatre. It's great that they have $5 movies on certain days. I have been coming to this theatre for many years, sometimes more than once per week but almost always at least once per week. But I do have one MAJOR beef and I hope the management reads this..........why designate the aisle row as handicap seating and then allow people with no disabilities to sit there? Especially now that they have gone to assigned seating. It's very aggravating to come to the theatre and have those seats taken. Before the seats were assigned, I guess you couldn't count on people not to sit there on their own, but with assigned seating the theatre has the ability to control it. I brought 3 kids to see the second Hunger Games film. There was a full *25* minutes of ads & previews before the 2 hour 20 minute movie started. Too many ads! I came for the movie, and resent having to spend an additional almost half an hour as a captive audience to this. Did I mention we paid $45 for this pleasure? Two or three previews - then get to the movie. I won't come back here if I can help it. read more

Not to sound repetitive, but Regal is loads better than the alternative. Stadium seating, better screens, more options. All around a better theater. It's unfortunate that I didn't even know about it until nearly the end of my BU career. If you have wheels or can go with someone who does, definitely go here instead of Town Square. read more

still just an ok theatre. they recently upgraded to recliner seating in order to compete with loews so i figured i'd update my review. i was gunna so see star wars on sunday but when i pulled into the parking lot it was packed, so i figured i would wait a day to see it. when i came back on monday i found out why... with their (free) regal rewards card you get $5 matinees on sunday and tuesday. so for the 2D monday matinee it was $7.75, and honestly i think i would rather spend the extra money and go on a less crowded day. i went back today (a tuesday) to see another movie and i got there 5 minutes before showtime. it's a movie that's been out for a month now but the theatre was still packed, so i had to sit up front and it was pretty uncomfortable. the new seats didn't help much at all. sure, they recline, but they don't go as far back as the ones at lowes, and they also aren't as spacious and they don't have as much cushioning. they also have little tables on them for snacks, which i thought was annoying because i never eat at the movies and it makes me feel like a kid sitting at a desk. the recliners at loews are a lot better. also, when i was sitting up front i kept moving around a bunch cuz i was so uncomfortable and i kept accidentally hitting the button to move my seat, so i had to keep readjusting the seat multiple times throughout the movie. also, both times i went i found that my bottom was pretty sweaty when i got up to leave, which i've never noticed before anytime i went to a movie, so i gotta blame the seats for that. overall, the new seats didn't impress me, i'm gunna keep goin out to vestal for movies read more

Cheap tickets, and nice environment. The newer remodel really does help the atmosphere and was definitely a nice surprise, as I hadn't recently been here, the food is pretty sub par but who goes to a theater to eat the food. Easy to find parking as well, competes well with the Vestal AMC read more

Best seats ever! The seats recline, and makes it worth paying the 10.50 movie price. When my husband and I want to go see a movie, we drive the one hour from Oneonta to come to this theatre. The only other time I've had seating this cool and cozy was at a theatre with couches located in the Reno Hilton (no longer in existence). read more
