Small screens. Gets very busy sometimes. Well maintained. Can make a better choice of the movies played here.

    the only theatre in town!

Rolla has a movie theatre! This is the only movie theatre in town so if you don't want to drive 40 miles to Waynesville, this is your only choice. They only have four screens here, no 3D showings, and you can expect that those four movies are usually the top box office movies. The four screens are also fairly small. Well, it's Rolla, so you take what you can get. The prices are a little more inexpensive than typical: $8.25 for adult, $7.25 for matinee. They need to get some carpet sweepers. There is pop corn on the carpet, and the place looks messy.

Great place and love the recliners. Highly recommend this movie theater. Will definitely go again.

Reclining seats are so comfortable and it's way nicer than it used to be.

One word about sums it up, ghetto…read more Cons: -Only one room with stadium seating. I thought that was standard in all theaters. -Oudated single rows in the rest of the rooms. -Long lines on the weekends out into the parking lot with one register open, when there are about 4 registers and 4 workers behind the counter. You have to arrive a half hour early so you won't miss the previews. -They also have the ticket and concession stand line combined when they should be separated; not everyone wants to buy overpriced snacks. -Slow staff. -Expenisive for a crappy theater. If I'm going to a ghetto theater, I want to pay the ghetto price..not over $30 for tickets medium popcorn and one soda. -For some reason there's never any paper towels in the women's bathroom. -Watch the liquid butter because it leaks and some of the seasoning tastes stale. Pros -You can help yourself to the leaky liquid butter instead of standing a half hour in line.

Small town movie theater with big city prices. The closest other movie theaters are in Rolla or on…read morepost. No online ticketing and the parking lot is terrible. They definitely take advantage of being the only show in town (that's economics for ya). The theaters themselves aren't terrible, but they're pretty small with old seats and narrow aisles. If you want to go to a movie that's bound to be popular, get your butt there in the middle of the day to buy the tickets for that evening. It'll save you the frustration of standing in line...

Seen a movie last nite Dec. 29, 2025 at this place . Have been here a few times. Nice place, nice…read moreemployees, very clean. Husband and I witness an issue last night. We both could not believe what went on with a female adult and her 4 children! This mother / care taker in her 40's brought 4 children into this movie rated "R" told them standing in front of us ( we're in our seats at this time ) "ok" go to the end of our roll (F) u have the last 4 seats. Their ages were 8-14 2 young boys no coats no jackets wearing shorts. Neither of these boys were above the age 10. The girls the same no coats ages 12-14 one had a blanket. She walked with the kids to their seats. Stood there seated them , while she stood looking toward the entrance to #5 theater. She dished out the popcorn to them. Then stated to them "ok" I gotta go ! She was gone !!!! I was in total shock. As they walked by us directly in front of us...I told my husband "This is not a movie for anyone under 18"! It's R rated. These kids never once moved at all. The movie was " The Housemaid"! Lots of sex and blood. Adult minds are very different than an 8 year old mind. Why would any mother / care taker drop these kids off at this movie ? They were 100% dropped off, I watched them wait for whoever to pick them up ! She was late too! We waited purposely to witness this. I understand we all parent differently. The bigger ? Here is Why was this allowed in this theater at an "R" rated show ?????? What is your policy ? In a place of business This Business is completely responsible for these underage children being dropped off and placed in a theater by themselves. R rated movies should be monitored more than what we witnessed for a 2 hour movie...
