The theatre is old and sometimes a little musty but it is a good place to see movies on a big screen for a very low price!

I'm so glad that this state-of-the-art cinema has survived at least the first big wave of the Covid…read morepandemic. My wife and I had visited just a couple of times before things shutdown and were worried how they would make it through. Before last night we had seen two films in both the Grand Screen theatre and one of the "regular" theatres. In both rooms the seats are incredible with power recline and leg rests. As a special treat for our anniversary last night, my wife and I decided to try the MX4D experience (seats with motion and special effects like wind, etc.) for the new Bond movie. It was a riot! I'm not saying I would like to see every film in that format, but for that type of action film it was perfect. When we arrived last night I ran into a good friend who wasn't even there to see a movie. Apparently on Friday nights they are using their big bar and reception area for free live music performances by local artists! Good on the folks who run this place for bringing this great facility to Topeka!

The trash is always overflowing and the counters are filthy. The restrooms are disturbing, many of the recliner chairs are broken, dirty, ripped, sticky... Every time something is brought up to the staff for their attention, you have to wait for them to get off their cell phone before they acknowledge your existence... and then they say they will take care of it and do absolutely nothing about it. very disappointing.

### Draft Review for B&B Theatres - Liberty, MO…read more We visited the B&B Theatres in Liberty, MO for the first time today and, unfortunately, it will also be our last. On arrival, we were actually really impressed. The speakers in the parking lot were playing an amazing soundtrack from *Pirates of the Caribbean*, which got us excited and set great expectations for the experience. Once we stepped inside, though, things went downhill quickly. The lobby has some nice decorations, but the overall atmosphere was dark, stuffy, and a bit dingy, almost like the lights were turned down too low. On the positive side, getting our tickets from the kiosk was quick and easy, and the machine printed them without any problems. When we got to our seats, we were very disappointed. The seats seemed old and poorly maintained--one of them wouldn't even sit upright, and several of them had a strong, unpleasant body odor smell. It made it hard to relax or feel comfortable. Then the previews started, and we noticed right away that the screen seemed darker and slightly blurry compared to other theaters we've been to. We were seated on the right-middle side of the auditorium, and at first we thought maybe it was just the previews and that the actual movie would switch to a better projector or sharpen up. It never did. The image never looked "crisp" at all--definitely below the standard of other theaters we've attended. Because of all this, we requested a refund within the first five minutes of the movie. That process was more difficult than it needed to be. The manager and what appeared to be his superior were both present, but neither one acknowledged us or spoke to us, even after the cashier had clearly told them about our situation. They walked by without making eye contact or offering any kind of explanation or apology. The only person who treated us well was the shift lead, who actually acknowledged us and helped us get our refund. Given the uncomfortable seats, poor picture quality, and lack of basic customer service from management, we will not be returning to this location--even though it is the closest theater to our home. Based on our experience, I do not recommend this theater.

I always tell the servers to pack the icon and bathe it in butter. They do a great job and don't judge me. lol. If you sign u for Regal Crown Club you get all sorts of perks. This theatre has come a long way! I remember when I first moved to Lawrence in 2013 and back then…read morethe seats did not recline and the concession stand was limited. Now they have better recliners than most AMC's and the snacks are fully stocked! Sorry I forgot to take a picture): I bought my tickets online and I was so glad I did because there is no "ticket person" in the front anymore. Not sure if that's a thing of the past or just because we were coming to see one of the last movies of the night? We were able to walk past the concession stand straight to the lobby attendant. We were directed to the theatre showing our movie and found our seats quickly. In all honesty, I'm not a "movie person". I will always prefer to buy it at home whenever possible because I am one of those "wait, what just happened...I need to rewind" type LOL. Now whenever I come here I bring a big blanket because it's always super cold, then I end up falling asleep because the chairs are too comfortable. NOT THIS TIME! Not sure if I was really excited to see Zootopia 2 or if it was just that good, but I was completely invested and probably only blinked a few times; as I did want to miss a thing. The seating area was clean, the screen was huge and only interrupted once for camcording without a flash which I really appreciate. The only issue I have which may not be able to be fixed is how bright the lights were during the previews and the previews lasting 25-30 mins?! Like I said I don't go to the movies often and I usually arrive as the previews are ending, but previews should only last 10-15 minutes maximum. There are only 4 locations left in Kansas and 2 of them are in Wichita and the other is Topeka. There isn't one in the Kansas City area as the closest location would be St. Joseph! Regal Cinemas are diamonds in the rough and bring back the nostalgia of going to the movies in the early 2000's. In a world filled with AMC and B&B, if I get to choose I am going with REGAL(:
