After 30 minutes, I asked for an estimate of how much longer it would be, I was told 15 more minutes. 20 minutes later, after still not having anyone report back (and seeing multiple others be taken back), I canceled this appointment. Reason given was "it is our first day back from the holiday and things are backed up." Ok, fair. But there can be better communication if there is going to be this type of delay. They are all about their athletes and celebrities it seems, and I'm guessing they wouldn't be waiting an hour to be seen. Always have had great service, yes sometimes the wait is a bit long even after the appointment but the friendly service makes up for it. They offer water (STEM water) and free samples of image skincare products. I go for laser hair removal treatments and skin is fine no burns or anything. The spa is fabulous in decor. Had the Stem Cell IV done. About 6mos later and am not happy with the results. $10,000 is an expensive procedure. I haven't noticed any results. Still joint and back pain. Not even less pain than before.Thought it might also help my metabolism and have some effect on my diabetes. No changes. I feel like I wasted my money and still paying. The exam was very quick and there was no after care or follow up offered. Don't waste the money. Real stem cell procedures are a long process that includes follow up with the patient. The only thing they were through with was the disclaimers. The only follow up I had was when they realized all the dots, x's , and t's were incomplete on the paperwork. Saw Dr. Ambrozic for a consult on Wharton's Jelly therapy. The session began 45 mins after my appointment time. He was in and out of the room in just 10-15 minutes, flippant with my concerns, and said some things that made me wary: 1. That the procedure was "100% risk free." NO MEDICAL PROCEDURE IS 100% RISK FREE. So the alarm bells were going off. 2. I told him I had consulted with Mayo Clinic about stem cells and Wharton's Jelly and Mayo's Regenerative Medicine Dept told me that I should be cautious, as stem cells that have not been modified to produce SPECIFIC cells could replicate damaged or harmful cells. His response? "Well, I don't know who you talked to, but they were wrong." 3. He said - without having my medical records or anything - that he'd immediately start me off at a double dose. A double dose when you haven't even seen how I would respond to a single dose??? 4. Lastly, he claimed he had treated other patients - with great success! - who had my same illness. I asked if he would please contact those patients and ask if they'd be willing to speak to me. He assured me he would, but I never heard from any of those patients. I did hear from a general neuropathy patient, who said his treatment was successful, but that patient also told me the price he paid for his services, and there seems to be some WIDE discrepancies in who pays what and how dosages are assigned (see #3) above. All in all, there are just too many red flags here. 2 stars bc the office staff I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant. Otherwise I'd have gone with 1 star. read more

I received a free consultation and when I decided to move forward with treatment received a discounted package for 6 treatments! The prices can't be beat for the quality of service. They use the latest technology and I am finally seeing great results with my tattoo removal. I have some hyperpigmentation from previous laser treatments and SVL offers a treatment to take care of that, that I will definitely be doing. Amy does an incredible job to make this process as comfortable and efficient as possible. I would recommend her and this establishment to anyone looking for what they have to offer. Likes: Current prices for most things since they are new are great. I had laser hair removal and tattoo removal. The use the newest technology and scheduling is easy. This place is so unorganized!!! They change their prices too much. I started going to Southern Vein at their old location & had laser hair removal (Brazilian & underarms) I also had tattoo removal & Botox. I was told ever if I ever needed a touch up for the hair removal it would be $50 for each area. It's been about 2 years and seems as if I never even had the treatment done. I called for a touch up and now it's $100 for each area touch up & they have lost all of my patient records. Booked a IPL photofacial via Groupon. Asked for a botox consult before my facial, which I never got because they were throwing an event in the lobby during my appointment and too busy to see me. Photofacial did not work and after 2 weeks, I have darker spots than I had before. I messaged the lady who did my facial and she just wants me to come back in and spend more money to "fix" it. Recently I visited the Southern Vein & Laser Center. They were chosen based on the number of positive reviews on the Internet. I was having a problem with a vein in my leg that had become painful as well as unsightly. Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The staff was incredible in taking care of me, which is no easy task as I am a cynical and grouchy old senior citizen. But they made me feel welcomed and treated me like I was their favorite patient. Which in this day and time is uncommon treatment because most people don't want to work, they just want a paycheck on Friday. When Dr. Ambrozic examined my leg he began talking about another problem I was not aware of. At first I thought, Great, this guy is trying to get some additional billing out of me. However, the more he talked and the more I listened - something I've never been accused of doing - the more sense he made. For all the questions I asked he gave understandable answers - something doctors have never been accused of doing - and I felt comfortable with the VNUS Closure Procedure after hearing his explanations. We talked for some time and he made me feel like I was the most important patient of the day. He seemed more interested in making sure I understood the procedure than he did about rushing out the door to the next patient. The more Dr. Ambrozic talked the more impressed I became, soon I realized he was not trying to increase the billing, he was genuinely concerned about my health and made me feel comfortable discussing the procedure. He is a good man who is very likable and, as it turns out, a darned good doctor. A few days later, when the VNUS Closure Procedure was performed, I became more impressed with Dr. Ambrozic. His nurse, who is wonderful and was incredibly helpful, had everything prepared when he came in the room and right away they made me feel at ease. Note: Dr. Ambrozic apparently has a knack for hiring nice people who are great at their job. There is an old saying, nothing looks easier than someone doing their job well. Dr. Ambrozic went right to work and made it look easy. In fact, it was over before I was sure he had started and he did both legs. But here is what I'm most thankful for: I'm a disabled vet and have had trouble with my feet hurting for about ten years. I had resolved myself to the idea I would be in a wheel chair in a few more years as the pain in my feet increased. Just walking my dog around the block, about 1/2 mile, causes so much pain that I would stay off my feet the rest of the day. The day of the procedure, I told Dr. Ambrozic about my fear of the wheel chair. He told me the VNUS Closure Procedure would help my foot pain, but couldn't guarantee exactly how much. I told him any relief would be a blessing. Well, after the procedure, I was up and walking that day with very little pain. In fact, I'm now walking my dog every day and do not stay off my feet the rest of the day. I'm more active and feel so much better. And because I'm walking more, without pain, I've lost weight without really trying, and now my pants don't fit anymore. Dr. Ambrozic has corrected the foot problems I've had for ten years and I don't have to worry about being in a wheel chair the rest of my life...am I happy...Yes, I am !!! So, If you are having pain or heaviness in your legs or feet, you don't have to suffer anymore, go see Dr. Ambrozic. He gave me my life back and I am eternally grateful.
