So this company has to creat new pages because of their low ratings. They stole from us damaged our property and 7 months they quit job. The contractors that did do work have now filed liens on my house because Regency didn't pay them. Over 26,000 from us and 67,000 from insurance. I have liens totaling 36,000 on home. Horrible, Horrible, Company. Was on the Job for 2 years 3 mos. Never finished the work. Made multiple promises and did not keep them. So many things were left not finished. The house is still not complete. We would go literally 3 to 4 mos without a phone call sometimes. We had to hire an outside appraisal company to come in and give an accurate assessment of damage after regency said they were Finished. The kitchen was deemed t be redone, hired a different contractor to remodel the kitchen, got it completed, then got the check from the insurance company for the kitchen. Paid for the work with the new Contractor then regency had the audacity to demand the payment for the kitchen remodel which they did not even do. In my opinion this company should not allowed to be able to even do business. Do not believe any of the positive reviews. If I could give less than one star I would. If you see them RUN RUN RUN the other way. A remodeling project we had that was supposed to take a couple of months took TWO YEARS!!! And we still had to hire another company to finish the job. They hired crappy subcontractors who they ended up suing. They did crappy woodwork, the paint jobs needed to be redone again, electrical outlets are coming off the wall and the list goes on. They even left my WOLF gas range out in the garage not covered or protected putting supplies on top of it!!!! We went through 4 different project managers all terrible. We even reached out to the president of the company Scott Stamper and he couldn't bother himself to help either. When the president doesn't take pride in his work I see why his staff didn't either. Do yourself the favor if you want good quality work with a communicative staff done in a timely manner DON'T HIRE REGENCY!!!!!!! read more

Don't be fooled by friendly contractors who say they will handle everything and are preferred by your insurance company. This warning is based on our experience with Regency DKI this year. We had significant damage from a burst pipe. They estimated 6 to 8 weeks project completion. Seven months later the job was still not done. The work was shoddy and done by incompetent workers . It was worse the second time when they tried to repair their first mistakes. I finally had to get another contractor to fix their sub standard work and complete the project. This company has been horrible to deal with. We've been without a functional kitchen for 3 months now & the Project Manager indicates another 2 weeks is needed to finish the job but we've heard that before. Weeks drag into more weeks of delay! We've been told workers will arrive on certain days at certain times, only to have them not show up after we've altered our own schedules to be available. And when they have shown up, they don't speak English or know what they're supposed to be doing so try to communicate with us about uncertainties. Today was yet another day workers were supposed to arrive to re-construct our cabinets after water damage & mold remediation. Nobody showed up & we received no communication about an issue. They were paid $23,000 in August by the Insurance company & have repeatedly failed to deliver & had the nerve to ask for more $. If you want professionalism, reliability, dependability and ethical treatment with customer service, this is NOT the company to hire! read more

We were very satisfied with this company. My parents had a major pipe bust inside the wall and our insurance company recommended DKI. We worked with Vincent Thomas as the Project Manager. Vincent was very responsive, worked quickly to get my elderly parents back into their home as they were displaced for 3 + weeks. Most of all, there was a sense of caring and compassion that helped us get through a very stressful situation. The place looks great and we would highly recommend DKI! read more

Regency DKI turned a bad situation into a never-ending nightmare. In May 2015 my home suffered a house fire. The damage was extensive. Regency promised to have me back in my house by Dec 2015. It is now the end of July 2016 and the house is still only half done. They did not apply for permits until July 2015. The started demo work Oct 2015 and completely gutted the house. All that was left standing was the concrete block shell. They left two refrigerators full of food and taped shut standing in the middle of the house. The roof work started Feb 2016 along with electrical rough in and plumbing rough in. They moved the refrigerators outside of the house. By March 2016 they stopped work asking for more money. In June 2016 they promised they would be done before Sep 2016. They finally removed the two refrigerators from the property. I can only imagine what was in them after 13 months. In July they did two days worth of work on the exterior and stopped again, asking for more money. Regency makes a lot of promises and delivers nothing but excuses and apologies. read more
