He and his wife run Eagle's Magic and have filled it with great value products, new effects, magic dvds, and rare hard to find product. It's a treasure chest for any magician. It's very sad that magic shops are disappearing across the country, being replaced by online stores who they can't compete with. Larry has put so much of his time and heart into building this store, and we really lose a lot as these shops close. Magicians used to hang out in places like this all across America, learning personal moves and effects from other magicians and putting in time practicing, perfecting their patter and tossing ideas off each other. You can't get this type of knowledge and personal heart from ordering tricks off the Internet. We magicians in Los Angeles have the Magic Castle, which is a different business structure entirely, and more akin to a nightclub than a magic store. Would recommend Eagle's Magic whole-heartedly to anyone, if not for the products then to meet Larry and hear some great stories.

Details of our wedding planning experience are below: Working with Entourage Events and the Minneapolis Event Centers was incredibly stressful. Due to incredibly high turnover, we were in contact with a different employee every time we had a question, an update to our wedding day plan, or when we attempted to schedule follow-up meetings. This meant that we had to go over every single detail we had already agreed to with each new employee. In every meeting, there were numerous mistakes with our event order and also blatant attempts by MEC and Entourage Events to charge us more money without our consent. We were able to resolve these issues only because of our meticulous documentation of emails, conversations, and agreements. The time and effort it took to advocate for ourselves caused us intense worry and stress for the entire year planning our wedding, as we felt we were constantly at risk of being taken advantage of financially. The most concerning communication issue with Minneapolis Event Centers and Entourage Events is that they only have one email for clients to contact, meaning we had no way to directly reach people we had spoken to about pricing or other agreements. In our case, that meant that at one point MEC/Entourage Events refused to honor the bar package they offered us when signing the contract, as they had "no record" of that conversation after the employee who originally confirmed the discount left their position. Luckily, our wedding coordinator attended a meeting with us to demand that our original agreement be honored. During that meeting, the owner of Entourage Events, Steve Hark, yelled at our wedding coordinator. It was completely unprofessional. The interaction did, however, prepare us to be vigilant in our future conversations with him and other management. Overall, it was clear throughout the wedding planning process that this company is extraordinarily disorganized, which leads to unnecessary frustration and anxiety for its clients. No matter how good the food is or how beautiful the space, the difficulty of having to work with such an unprofessional company is not worth it. Note: the employees who worked the actual wedding day were wonderful and accommodating. My complaints lie with the upper-management alone.

We recently hosted a special VIP/guest experience at River's Edge Music Festival in St. Paul, and…read moreliterally a week before the event we found ourselves with some additional, unexpected décor needs. As I am based in NYC, I reached out to a local colleague for a vendor recommendation, and received Shannon at Entourage's contact info. Hands down, working with Entourage was an extremely seamless & professional process. With very little direction and no time (I asked Shannon for a proposal about an hour before a client presentation), I received prior to my meeting multiple options/pricing and photo examples of the elements. Shannon offered feedback & great recommendations, and within a few days we had a final game plan. Once on-site in St. Paul, Entourage again impressed me with the ability to navigate some hurdles to make our outdoor experience look incredible & elegant. My only regret is that I did not contact Entourage earlier in my planning process for additional design & décor needs! You will be in good hands with Shannon and company. Look forward to working with Entourage again for future special events!

Your event will probably go off without a hitch. If you are a bride that likes glamour and things done in a big way---this will probably be a venue you will want to check out. I am more about quality and substance vs. quantity and showiness therefore I can only give it a three stars based on my likes and dislikes. I recently attended an event there and for the money that was spent a few things I would have been disappointed in was the sound quality indoors and outdoors. --How close the chairs were outside--they are small seated chairs and unless you have the ass of a child they did not need to be touching because most adults need the room on the side of the chair for some overflow. The food---I had steak and others had the chicken and fish and one vegetarian had pasta...the feedback on all of it was not that good! These plates are all right around 32-38 per plate so at that price you would expect delicious food. I think the quality of the food was there and it had more to do with the preparation vs. the product itself. The staff was a little snippy with the wedding party in the afternoon when one asked if there was anyway possible they could get coffee or water--apparently this is a money making business and that was not part of the deal so they were shut down with a curt response of No-but nice try!!!! The open bar selection was boring and standard--and the glassware was not upscale. I would have expected a martini glass to be available and perhaps a few more exotic liquors and mixers just for fun. These are all areas that you can address beforehand if you choose to use this as your venue --I feel like if you are aware of some of this it can easily be enhanced for a five star experience.
