The staff in the office are very nice and super helpful anytime I need anything or call. Dr Berstein is great and a very good listener. I could not imagine going to any other Neurologist after going to Dr Berstein. She is great , She has a great personality and is super friendly. I will continue going to Dr Berstien. My mother can barely walk, so appointments require time requested off work for me and a series of preparations the day before and morning of to get her successfully to an appointment. When I received the voice mail at 9:30 (I get up at 9 as I work until 1am), I called back and they said "well she can't be seen today there was a mix up with the doctor's schedule". I replied "So, my mother got bumped but someone else is getting their much needed appointment today." Natalie replied "You don't need to go all 'crazy' on me." How dare she call me crazy when I was being calm and asking questions she didn't like. She also made it sound like my mother could no longer be seen today, her exact words. When the office manager called back, wouldn't you, she could still be seen. Retrain her.

He said she wasn't relaxed enough. And that he said he has never seen a needle bend from that procedure. Terrible manner with patients. Nothing she could control. He blamed her! He also seemed unfamiliar with her medical background. She seizes under great stress, anxiety an pain. His comments could have caused a seizure with the combination of blaming her for things and the pain of the procedure.

I have seen three different doctors and a PA at this office for various issues. It's been a mixed…read moreexperience but I know I can be a tough case. They do offer some online scheduling and also by phone. It is a big office and quite busy. There are several different check in windows when you arrive. I do feel possibly a better screening process when calling to schedule. They scheduled me to see a PA (my regular doctor was on leave) and even the PA questioned why I was seeing him as there wasn't really anything he could do. I wound up having to schedule to see another doctor a few weeks later. The office seems to operate fairly efficiently. They usually send you for X-rays before seeing the actual doctor so that the doctor has already seen them before coming in to see you. They also have an orthotist in office to fit you with any braces or boots etc that are needed. My normal specialist here is Dr. Hasselman. He is great. Very thorough. Listens to concerns. Willing to think out of the box. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a foot/ankle specialist.
