Typically, if you're unable to see a certain doctor, you can get into another within a reasonable amount of time. I love the amount of options they have for treating your animal. They offer hydrotherapy, laser treatment, physical therapy, and of course medical maintenance and overall health care. The staff has always been a joy to be around. They are very caring towards my animals. The technicians treat my animals as if they were their own. The doctors are upfront but also compassionate about what needs to take place with each animal. They take their time and explain things to me so that I can understand them. The front staff is also very respectful and knowledgeable. They always have a smile on their faces and are willing to help. I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to anyone.

I was not hateful or abusive to anyone! The original team was wonderful, but the people there now are not. Well, Lori Mitchell is still good. I'm not sure who or how I offended! If anyone is looking for a place to entrust your pet, this is it. Dr. Davy Harkins is amazing. He takes on all critters, big and small. He is always up for a challenge and his calm demeanor during a crisis is always reassuring Between him and his Vet Tech, Kathy Daily and dear, sweet Brad Sutter, heck; the entire staff! I always have a great visit with my dogs. My dogs love going to see them!! So many Veterinarians these days work 9 - 5 and tell you to call the emergency vet if you have a problem after hours. I haven't had to do it myself but I have heard stories of Dr. Davy and his staff showing up in the middle of the night to do emergency surgery to save someone's pet. He has met me on a Sunday to comfort me in the loss of one of my dogs. This is why I drive 35 minutes from Wichita to El Dorado to have my dogs seen. Wichita area veterinarians, you need to take note. This is how you create a loyal following; by caring enough about the animals and their people to make time to provide comfort and aid. By being honest in the diagnosis, treatment and your ability to provide it. Don't tell people what they want to hear even when the truth hurts. Dr. Davy doesn't try to tell you what you want to hear or sugar coat it. He tells the truth as gently as he can and leaves it up to you to deal with it with what help he can provide. He is not a miracle worker but he is damn close.

I brought a five month old healthy kitten in for a simple neuter procedure. The vet called two…read morehours later and said he went into cardiac arrest. Did not seem sorry, and then asked what I wanted to do with the body. Who does that? That kitten was loved by my grandkids and family. He adored my dogs, and I couldn't even brush my teeth without him splashing the water. He was NOT replaceable and I never dreamed using this vet would KILL my cat. Please don't go there ever if you want to keep your pets. I am devastated. They charged me $39 for the procedure and then it was $145 to have him cremated. Instead of paying $200 for a neuter, I paid $200 for my cats ashes and I will never see him again.

They are consistent, on time, and all have been friendly. My dog happily goes with any of the walkers. They send pictures and reports of each visit. They are attentive to the property, and are careful to be sure doors are closed to prevent a breakaway. I swear my dog has figured out the schedule and knows when they are coming, and checks the door often.

What a wonderful place! I have just Adopted a BEAUTIFUL Dachshund Mix puppy. My Husband and I have…read morebeen wanting to add another pup to Our Family for awhile. Hubby found a newly posted picture of Our Girl and asked me to go and take a look at her. I called first and told them who I wanted to see and spoke to a very sweet young lady and she was expecting me when I went to their front counter. She put a leash on my Girl and showed me their outside visitation area. I walked her around for about an hour. I picked her up and cuddled her to make sure she was my type of friendly and sure enough, I got kisses :) I took some pictures with my phone and sent them to my Husband -- then I called him and said that I was going to fill out the paperwork on her. When I went to the counter another lady filled out my 'HOLD' paperwork and took a $40 non-refundable deposit. She then called their Internal Vet and set up a Spay for our pup for the following morning and said that I could come on Friday and pick up our new pup. The Lady who 'surrendered' this pup, filled out a Questionaire and I had been read the highlights over the phone before I arrived. On the day of her Spay, I called and checked on her and 'Mike' very obligingly went and checked on her for me. He came back to the phone and read me the Dr's comments and they found a skin condition that would need immediate attention. Since I picked her up on a Friday afternoon -- I scheduled an appointment with our Vet for Monday morning. And Mike very thoughtfully copied our girl's file in it's entirety. We were fortunate that the Lady who surrendered her, also included copies of her Medical History! I feel grateful that they posted her picture so quickly after her intake and that we were the lucky ones who got to adopt her. They immediately updated their website that she had been placed on 'HOLD' and immediately removed her from their site when our adoption process was completed. Very efficient :) The remaining balance was $110 for a total of $150. Which included her medical exam, her Spay, Microchip with a Pet Insurance for 30 days. It would have included her first shots and deworming -- but that had already been taken care of by her previous owner. It's actually a bargain to paying a Vet for multiple visits for shots, deworming, Spaying and then their Rabies. Our Vet charges $225 to Spay a female (we have 2 other girls), $44 for DHLP (needs 3 inoculations -- $132) shots, $23 for Rabies (1 year - $55 for 3 year) plus an Office Visit each time, the Microchip cost $45. Each of our previous dogs cost us nearly $600 for everything EACH!
