Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health. They are usually really good about getting me in same day if I need to be seen and am not particular about which doctor I see. If I want to see my Doc or one of the other ones I prefer sometimes I have to wait until the following day. There usually isn't that much of a wait once I get there. You can usually email them if you have any questions about medications or concerns. Most of the physicians are very patient and don't rush you and will let you ask about other medical/health concerns that aren't necessarily the reason you came in and not make you feel rushed. Sorry I'm not naming names, sometimes you just don't mesh well with certain people. I don't want to tarnish someone based on my preferences.

As a last resort I called Livonia Family Medicine Associates since my PCP Dr Bradley works there. I called at 1PM, was seen via video visit at 3:30, and at 5:30 arrived home with my antibiotic script in hand. Five days of pills later, I was cured. My urgent care experience was terrible and unacceptable but my Livonia Family experience made me well. And my office visits have been fine as well. Thumbs way up for this place!

Wait for 10 mins max after check-in then be ushered into the fold, check my weight ushered into an exam room where the nurse updates all my info. Then wait 10-15 mins for Dr. to show up, after a comprehensive checkup I leave. All very good service. NOW IHA has started a practice, you dont even have to pay a copay. They just bill you. And if you cant pay the bill, there is access One that will setup a payment plan as to what you can afford. So everyone is happy.

I recently had to switch my PCP and I was extremely nervous due to my own personal bad experiences with doctors in the past and an immense fear of being at the doctor's office. Dr. Wayne and his staff quickly put my fears aside. I had read reviews that people were forced to wait 30 minutes to see the doctor. That's pretty good! On average, any doctor I've seen before, I was in the waiting room for at least a half hour, and in the exam room for an hour or two. Their staff quickly got me in to an exam room, and I only waited a half hour to see Dr. Wayne. Overall, I'm very happy with the services that were provided and will highly recommend Dr. Wayne and his staff to anybody.

Dr. Wayne gets what is probably my first bad review. He cannot keep a timely appointment. He was 35…read moreminutes late taking me back on my first visit to him. At which time after processing, blood draw, and blood pressure I was made to wait 20 minutes after that was done. The second time I went to see him he was only 30 minutes late to see me because I got up to walk out at the 20 minutes late mark and they asked me to stop. He sent me to a free class that was being offered, other patients of his were in attendance and reported the same thing, "he's a good doctor, if you don't care about time" was my favorite quote by one of the attendees. Now without disclosing too much about why I went to see him, he basically told me I'd always have the issue I was dealing with and to 'get used to being on at least three to four meds'. Suffice to say this is counter to my principals and has later been proven to be medically inaccurate. So on my three criteria doctor standard he gets fail at appointment times, fail at listening, and I'll give him a check minus on the working to craft a health plan. The reason he gets an upgraded mark is he did encourage me to go to a class and educate myself on some issues. So if you have a few hours to kill and would enjoy seeing a doctor sometime in that window Dr. Wayne may be your next new doctor.
