Nice sports complex with shelters where you can picnic. My church is just across the street and we've rolled in our bbqs and it's good to see everyone literally touching grass, playing cornhole, and the kids enjoying the large playground. There's a lot of parking, but I wonder how impossible it gets during baseball season. There are a vcouple of walking paths around the field which aren't too long and some of it is in the shade and people keep it clean. Haven't seen a dog poop left behind yet and let's keep it that way guys, since families hang out here. read more

Beautifully landscaped fields perfectly manicured. I like that the fields are arranged in a shape that is easy for spectators to get from one field to the other easily. The bathrooms are individual little rooms so if you need to change or need a little privacy your good to go. Glad we played here. read more

My husband and I take the kids here to get some exercise and spend some of that extra energy they always seem to have. There's a great big playground right in the middle with all sorts of activities to keep the kids occupied. They usually are glued to their electronics but they actually ASK to go to this playground. There's bathrooms and a water fountain nearby which is a huge plus too. I was a little skeptical about trying to run here because there aren't very many pictures of the place and I wasn't sure what to expect, but to my surprise, it's pretty big! They have 2 walking/running trails. One that circles the baseball fields and another that goes around the soccer field. In total, it is a little less than 2 miles. There's a few playgrounds, which seemed filled with a lot of happy kids. I saw some parents bringing balls out to play with their families. It was nice. Not a lot of shade, which sucks cause this summer has been hoooooottttt. It's clean. Easy to get around. And, for the most part, well taken care of by the workers and patrons. read more

I'm from out of town (all the way from Canada), and I was looking for a place to run that is safe, clean, and free from traffic, and I'm so happy I found this place! My hubby was here racing his car at the Ridge, so I decided to check this place out. I wish we had parks like these back home--it was seriously so clean and a beautiful place for a stroll or run. The park is large, and I managed to get a 11km run in that day (4km each way from the hotel, and another 7km in the park--I ran around a each field a few times to get this, but it was maybe 2 miles all around as another reviewer said). This is a really nice complex. I have played baseball all over Western WA, and this is the nicest complex as a whole I have been too. The only downside is that it is right next to a mushroom farm/plant, so when the wind blows a certain direction it can be a little smelly. The 5 baseball/softball fields are turf. There is one field with 90' base paths, and the other 4 are smaller. There is a nice, large concession stand located in the middle of the fields, and there are a ton of nice bathroom stalls. The whole area is concrete, which is great if you don't like trudging through mud to watch your kids play ball. The fields frequently host huge slow pitch tournaments. During the summers, the baseball field hosts the Puget Sound Collegiate League (PSCL). I played in the PSCL for 3 years when I was at Saint Martin's University, and this is a great location. Baseball was meant to be played on grass, but in rainy WA, a turf field is a necessity. There are also a lot of Soccer fields at this park. I think one is turf and there are a few other grass fields. I ran on one of the grass fields one time and it seemed like a well-maintained surface. There is a large playground, lots of walking trails, and a plethora of parking. The RAC is so nice and clean- it is an example of what an athletic complex should be. read more

My family regularly frequents the RAC. My husband and I love to take our 4 dogs for walks at this awesome park. There are soccer fields, basketball courts, a softball field, trails, party gazebos... the bathrooms are usually clean. Poop bags and trash bins are scattered all about. We really like having this nice park near us! Our dogs love it even more!! read more

The worst experience ever, the fields were great but with any drizzle the grounds keeper will shut down the field. But wait there is more, they will let you come to the complex and let you warm up. Then as you are walking to the field they will let you know it is unplayable even though it is in perfect condition. My experience was for a National HS rugby tournament so you would think they would give a little alert that the field is not playable before you wake up at 6am to play at 8am expecting to play because you emailed them the night before and was left with no response. read more

Wow this place rocks for sports. Plenty of parking, generous clean restroom facilities, all-weather fields and Mt Rainier. Only complaint is the high prices of the concession, almost twice as much as other ball parks in the region. read more

Facilities are super nice but if you are trying to rent the facilities for anything, good luck. I submitted my request to rent a football field over a month ago and still no response. I've called the lady who runs that department and she is never there. If you are going to rent a facility for anything, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere. If you just want to take your kid to kick a ball around, throw a baseball, or spend time with your family, than you can not go wrong with the Regional Athletic Complex! read more

The Regional Athletic Complex---aka "The RAC" is a very spacious and well maintained park. There are 5 baseball/softball fields, numerous soccer fields, and two open air basketball courts. Set between the fields and courts, in a grassy area, is a large playground. Parking, picnic ramadas and tables are close by. There are several charcoal barbecue pits available. When baseball and softball get going in the spring a concession stand is open. They sell most everything--burgers, dogs, pizza, garlic fries, soda, slushys, ice cream. There are many bathrooms in the baseball/softball area that are kept clean by a roving crew that are usually very friendly. More bathrooms are located by the b-ball courts and picnic area. The only negative about this place is that its located across the street from Ostrom's mushroom farm. Sometimes the odor generated from that place is just horrific and hangs in the air for hours. You can only hope you go scent blind after a few minutes. Then you might be able to tolerate it. read more

This is an amazing park! Different playgrounds for different ages- and kept up pretty well. Nice trails for running or walking.
