This review today is strictly for the outpatient surgical services…read more Checking into outpatient services starts off slow as you have to go through the main check in downstairs. This means despite a given procedure time, you are at the mercy of the admission clerks to check you in. This can be problematic as this area checks in for just about everything from X-ray, routine Mammograms, and various other radiological testing. Once upstairs in the surgical dept. Things run a little smoother, but still in queue with all the other patients with various other docs utilizing the outpatient facilities. Despite your scheduled time the hold ups in these check in areas can cause your procedure to get pushed back and result in extended wait time all BEFORE your actual procedure. Once in the surgical area, the nurses and care team are knowledgeable and professional. That said the recovery area is small and not as nice as Abington. As for your driver, they are kept aware of your progress through a status board. They are not allowed back into the recovery area. You are informed when the surgery is complete and you get your car and meet them at the main entrance. There is also no real instructions on how to get back out to the proper parking lot for your car when leaving the surgical wait room. All that said. Despite the wait times, the facilities were clean, well maintained and my procedure went smoothly. Not my first choice for outpatient procedures but it's where my doc does his OP procedures.

0 RATING - Worst ER to go to. We waited over 6hrs and still no one knew how long of a wait it will…read morebe. This is ridiculous you have to spend the whole day and night there waiting. Then they close to coffee area at 8 and the only option is chips from a vending machine which charges alot more. Your better off getting into an ambulance so they can attend you faster which is priority for them. Totally worst expereince.

This review is specifically of one of your phlebotomy techs at Jeanes campus after 12pm- Elca- who…read moreI had the pleasure of working with today when I was in for lab work. Elca was thorough, organized, asked me questions about my insurance to confirm information and was a great stick. She was pleasant, she was quick. This department is not always as efficient as I frequently have blood work done here and there are often long waits, lulls in taking patients back and slow and poor sticks. that was not the case with Elca. She and the young lady working the window today were very helpful and efficient.

This is my review of the ER @ Jeanes I Went to the ER…read moreFebruary 17, 2026 complaining of lightheadedness and chest pains. After triage, I was sent to a room in the ER at about 1:30 PM. I was seen by a doctor and tended to by a nurse. Approximately three hours later after waiting in that room, I was told that I needed to stay overnight for observation. I had some questions about things that need to be done in my home if, I would get my meds and if I could get some food. I was reassured twice by the doctor and the nurse that I would be getting something to eat & my meds. I wasn't taken up to the observation room until 8:30 PM. At no point between the time arrived and that time was I offered any water any type of snack etc. The nurse attending to me in the observation room told me he thought he might have some meatloaf or turkey. I told him I don't want the meatloaf maybe the turkey, then he said I don't think you really want it. I'm guessing it wasn't fresh. Wasn't until around 8 o'clock the next morning that I was actually bought some food making it 24 hours since I had any food in me. The hospitalist Dr.Lacombe came to see me shortly there after. She wrongly stated that I was taking metoprolol for anxiety, which I wasn't. She said I would have to contact my PCP to get a new anxiety medication and then I should stop the metoprolol immediately and double up on the lisinopril. My PCP, Dr. Charles Wasserman confirmed that. I have tried to get that wrong information regarding my discharge notes to be corrected. I have spoken to Amy in Jeanes Advocacy who referred me to write a letter to Nora Mcann, which I did, but I haven't heard anything back yet.
