I've been a member for several years since I financed my car. They were the company with the best…read morerate for the refinance and they just happened to be local. First I was going to go with a company in Iowa and then a better rate was found and it was with LaCapitol. I've always done business with this branch except for once or twice I've gone to the one on the Westbank. Everything is done at the drive up teller. I went inside once and they had the same set up. Tubes going up to who knows where. I didn't see any employees inside so I never even get out. The lines are never long and the service is always fast and friendly. Just recently, I purchased a second vehicle and decided to finance through LaCapitol again. So now I have two separate loans. I dealt with a few different people but mostly Kim during the process which was seamless. I called and started the process and for everything else they called me for a quick question or emailed me. They always answered the phones when I called and replied to my emails in a timely manner. When I started with the first loan, I automatically was given a savings account which I use to pay bills online so that was a nice perk. I'm happy with LaCapitol and love that they are so close to my home.

Problem was that numbers that was there wasn't ours. Tried calling first time, after 5-10 min wait a person started helping and then said "Oh, let me transfer you to another branch, please hold". I was on hold for another 10 min. Then another person tried to but couldn't help and wanted us to be transferred to a person who speak Spanish. That is where I lost my cool. My husband and I has accents but we can speak English just fine and I didn't want to wait. Customer Rep got snarky with me and said that we only can fix this issue by going to branch. We did and wait time was 55 minutes with 4 people in front of us. Only two ladies were working there that we saw and they were very sweet. She supposedly changed the phone number but I couldn't check if it worked because internet was really bad at their spot. So I trusted that it all fixed and we can continue setting it up at home. Big mistake! Nothing was changed and she gave us a phone number for customer service and told us that they can't change the phone numbers -we have to go to brunch! Next morning I went to the branch again and they fixed the number! I could see it! Only to get stuck at the next step. We can't submit profile because there is no home phone number! And we can't add it online, we have to fill out the FORM at the branch! We were there 2 times and nobody told us about the form. The most idiotic bank I've ever dealt with. One person doesn't know what should it be and sending us on a wild goose chase. As soon as we can we are gonna be out. I understand that smaller banks doesn't have infrastructure of a bigger bank system but this situation here is just incompetent workers and ridiculous rules that wasted my time.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with any insurance company. I was with this company for…read morea little over a year and every time my policy was renewed, the price went up. I can understand price increases, but after two renewals, the price was up $100. I refuse to pay $500+ for two cars. That's ridiculous. You would think it wouldn't be so much given the area that I live in. I was offered a discount if I bundled (car and home), which the discount for the car already wasn't much, but the home insurance was over $1000 of what I'm paying already. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Needless to say, I found affordable insurance elsewhere. So, I canceled my policy two days before it was set for them to charge my account. Guess what?! They still charged me for it. My account was overdrawn and I was charged fees. I immediately called them and asked about it. I was told that they were going to refund it and it would take a few business days. All I received was a sorry. I work hard for my money and have three kids to support. That money was for groceries to feed my children and whatever I had left over was going to be used to buy my son a birthday gift. State Farm really left me in a bind.
