When I had to drag my two children out of the car and inquired last time by myself with my two and 3 year old in both arms as to if the drive up is closed they said oh sorry I forgot to open it up. I bank with Chase because it's convenient and this location is far from it at this point. When I was assured that there's no issues with the drive up and that it opens at regular banking hours and it's never open that's an issue. I'm ready to close my accounts with Chase and go somewhere where I can go through a drive up and have no issues or increase the ATM limit and I won't have a problem.

Was not helpful at all, state no appointments, as I have a secure checking accound and cannot write check, however was sent checks to me in the mail. Said without an appointment would have to make one or come back at another time. Before this a Bank Manager must of told her not to give him an appointment today. I told I have already written two checks and they will bounce. She said on a secure checkiing account there was no ablity to write a check but I had 250 checks I paid $30. I was mostly concern what was going to happen to the two people I wrote checks to. No answer. I said I really need to speak to someone, she tossed back my ID and checkbook and said she could and would not be able to do anything in a rude voice. This was a Chase problem not a customer problem. She said again in a rude voice try the bank on Clark, but I doubt they will be able to help you. I left and said I will use another bank in the future. Went to Chase Bank on Clark, teller (again no name tag) dark short hair. She could not of been my pleasant, she tried to change my checking account over to a Total checking account but was unable to do so. She could not understand why they would even issue checks (open the account at 8300 Bee Ridge Rd with a Chris and Sean) She had only one savings counselor and said she would be tied up until we close which was at 2pm. She said I know you are going to have to set up a new checking account and should be how to make an appointment on my app. She also said how truly sorry she was for this error and any extra fees for a returned check would be waived. Someone need to tell the Chase teller on 3638 Bee Ridge Rd, what customer service is. There is alot of banks in Sarasota. I had to go to alot of trouble to switch all my automatic payments over to this new checking account and also had to change direct deposit with Social Security and Sarasota School Board (which I had to go to the School Board office and give them a voided check and sign) This is just very poor service and to be treated like that from a teller at 3538 Bee Ridge Rd is unacceptable. If I have to go to all this trouble to open all new accounts for my trust, I might as well take my 10k out of your bank and use another. Not a happy camper, a very frustrating day by one teller. Blake went on to say, they go through these "precautionary measures" to everyone who isn't a member at their bank, but there were nothing wrong with the checks, I feel racially profiled when I come into this establishment just because I am black, there was a 15$ check cashing fee as well and I asked, "why is it 15$" and Kelly replied with "because we're offering you a service" a service of what? Giving me a hard time because of my skin color?, This is your job it's what you get paid to do, you weren't doing me a service you were doing your job, so in conclusion, stay away from this bank far-away, you might aswell cash your checks at Amscot, you'll save $ and won't feel like you're being racially profiled.

I know in 2020 with online banking, direct deposits and the like the bank isn't packed on Fridays like the 70s or 80s. However, what is the purpose of the greeter? We wait in line and she goes back to her half office (glass cubicle) clicks her computer, come back to say hello and now there are 5 in line. For your reference 5 is the magic number wherein the greeter tags in someone from a while office to be a greeter so she can help customers. People are lovely here but the BOA process of wasting all out time with a greeter is ridiculous.

This Bank of America team made it easy and they were very patient with the individual to create a positive experience. All questions were answered. All systems were explained carefully. There were several times that information had to be explained more than once and the Bank of America representative did so without hesitation. Opening a new account can be time-consuming, however this experience was completed in a timely manner. From start to finish, the process was complete in about 40 minutes. The bank manager even came over to introduce herself and offer any assistance. This was an overall positive experience and I would recommend this Bank without hesitation.

I asked to speak to the manager but was denied. I then asked for his name and was reluctantly given it. Which I will not disclose here but then I called another branch that we do business with as well and they said all I needed to do is have owner of our business call them and they would prepare it right away for me. When I called the corporate office to make the complaint they had forms and hoops to jump through before they would even submit my complaint which then opens some big investigation. Both times we had a wait, because Amy was Busy with other customers. The tellers came out behind the counter. The one noticed we waited for a bit and then came and motorized our paperwork. It awesome they have more than one notary and hire such professional friendly people. I would recommend this branch to anyone. It's the one in front of the small publix on the corner of chin and 301. Thank you. The entire branch staff were amazing, it was clean and they made a very stressful time. My 83 yr old mom.... very comfortable with closing on a condo she lived in for half her life.
