She was insolent, arrogant, rude demeaning, haughty and used weaponized incompetence (literally forcing me to seek help at the Veteran's Memorial branch in Scottsville, Ky). The women at the Scottsville branch provided me with the level of service that I was accustomed to receiving. The last auto loan that I held went through First Bank BECAUSE of their superior customer service. I offered both Chelsey and her manager the option to verbally apologize to me for hanging up on me (twice) and being incredibly rude and intentionally unhelpful. They declined that option.

I had two checks stolen and when I called them, they just wanted to charge me to put two stop payments on the checks. After begging them to lessen the charges. They finally agreed to charge me for one. And with that they felt they did me a big favor. If I wouldn't have done the stop payments they would've had a bigger fraud amount to deal with in my account. Even with a police report. The customer service doesn't care. Again they feel that anything they do for a customer is a big favor. As if I should feel privileged to do my banking there! This bank is horrible. Stay far, far away! It took me more than a year to get my address for my Regions Visa corrected in their system. I submitted the address change online, over the phone, via mail, and even went in a branch once, but they continued to send it to the wrong address! I even tried to talk to their fraud department and they think it is OK to send my statements to the wrong address and don't care! Finally, I ended up filing a complaint with the BBB, and they finally fixed the address, then closed my accounts in retaliation.

I try to do any banking BEFORE I visit Crossville so that I can avoid this branch. They have lost two separate deposites. Losing a deposite once is human error, it's terrible, but human error happens and I understand that. Losing a deposite TWICE at the same branch MONTHS apart... That seems to be a sign of poor quality control. Both times after many long phonecalls and multiple trips back and forth to the branch, they found my deposite and told me that apparently the teller dropped it behind her desk. They were very apologetic and the most recent time the corporate office even placed $25 in my account to make amends. Just to clarify, I LOVE US Bank, this review is specific to the Crossville, TN branch. Both times everything was fixed in the end, but I avoid this branch whenever possible, and if I can't avoid it I hold tightly to my deposite slips just in case. Talk about the police and their affinity for donuts, their Fraud Department is apparently on a permanent coffee and donut break. Their misfeasance and/or malfeasance - they abdicated their responsibility in their duty, and promise, to protect my funds entrusted to the bank's custody and care - resulted in their not flagging suspicious activity when they missed three hackers' duplicate withdrawals totaling $1,150 from my checking account, over a two day period. But they will shut down my debit card, without notice, over a $20 attempted transaction because they observed that as being an unusual transaction. Must have run out of donuts on that one....! I would certainly advise anyone considering using this mental er, banking institution, to give it a serious second look before casting lots with them.
