Every branch I have been to is the same in that regard. When I bought my first brand new car in 2019 they had the best interest rate and even gave me a rate discount for being a Veteran! Bravo TVA! In the 10 years I have been a member they have frown more branches and updated thier on line banking and security for it. My entire family now banks here. They recently did a mortgage loan for my daughter's first home. Some people only leave a review when they had a bad experience. I've never had one of those here!!

When I moved back to Knoxville and wanted to open a new account at TVA I was told my old account had accrued $300 in fees during those 10 years but no one can te me why, what there for or how an account I closed (and they admit I closed it not them) could even accrue any fees at all.

I visited the branch to add onto my existing business account by opening a new share to separate funds for IRS purposes. Before coming in, I called to confirm what documentation would be required and was told it would not be an issue since the information would match my existing business accounts. As always, the tellers were friendly and professional -- I know several of them personally and have even taught a few in the past. Unfortunately, the branch management experience was very different. After being placed in a queue, I waited without anyone from branch management coming out to speak with me directly. Instead, communication happened indirectly through the teller, who had to go back and forth multiple times. I was willing to wait to explain my needs, but I was never given the opportunity to speak directly with a manager or decision-maker. I was eventually given a lengthy list of paperwork requirements that had not been mentioned during my earlier call, which created unnecessary frustration and confusion. I then went to the Farragut branch, where the experience was completely different. I was greeted immediately, treated professionally, and able to open another share within my existing business account in less than five minutes. Emily, who assisted me there, was knowledgeable, professional, and proactive in confirming information when needed. Most importantly, she spoke with me directly to understand my request before determining what was required. The ORNL Lenoir City branch could learn a great deal from the Farragut team's communication, efficiency, and customer service. After more than 30 years as a customer, I expect clear communication, accurate information, and a willingness to engage directly with clients. While the Lenoir City branch is closer to my home, I am willing to travel farther to work with a team that understands their processes and respects customers' time.

Wow, I regularly do business with three credit unions and two banks. Regions is hands down the…read moreworst. $18/mth service charge when all the others have zero charge. Went in person to close this account. Male Teller concurred on the balance, handed me the change, then handed me a stack of bills. Teller couldn't be bothered with counting the bills out in front of me, putting the bills in an envelope OR providing me a receipt. After counting the bills, I noted that it was short $25. Teller said it was a close out fee. Since no bank receipt was provided, no way to be sure that Regions incurred the fee or the Teller just pocketed it. Regions bank account opening docs do NOT disclose a $25 close out fee.

I want to speak to a human! I was put on a 30 minute commercial before anyone helped me. Before they had a call back option which was aggravating but better than the longggg typical wait. I complained about it today and was told they only had 30 people operating phones. And was told the call back option closed at 1pm.It was never closed before until the end of day. Don't whine to me about your job situation. Whine to management! I've been a customer since before ORNL took over Maremont credit union and I've never saw such shitty service. I've been with ORNL since 2018 and overall it's been good but I've had several instances of fraud…read moreand each time I've had to speak with multiple people to get it straightened out and get a new debit card. They also want to charge me $15 for a new debit card which I feel is unacceptable. There has to be a better way to resolve these situations. I now live in OH and cannot go to a branch in TN to speak with someone and instead have to speak with four or five different customer service persons on the phone and also wait for a call from member services to get the fee waived. I have no access to my money until a new card is issued. There has to be a better way.
