Prior to starting, I had requested on several occasions statement/bills for services I had since I was out of network and wanted to pay as I go so as to not rack up a huge bill at the end. I had done this through email with the administration and with the front desk. I was informed that statements/bills were issued at the end of the month. I also was asked for a credit card too. Next thing I know, my credit card is charged and I have no bill of service. Supposedly, my account stated that I requested no bill or statement. Patently incorrect. Long story short, I was disappointed with the business model and to some extent the care I was given at Performance Optimal.

My lead therapist is Alexander Torres who is an exceptionally bright and very kind young man. My parents were both physicians and they taught me a lot about medical care, and Alex possesses so many of the crucial qualities a great doctor should have, which makes him an outstanding example of the BEST in his work. INNOVATIVE is truly blessed to have him as therapist, leader and a friend on their wonderful team. Another therapist, Nick Guarcello, an associate with Alex, has also worked hard to improve my condition and his medical knowledge and kind, cheerful personality have been essential in my progress. Also, Andrew DeFranco, an aide to Alex is an energetic, intelligent young man who has been available and has done a great job working on my issues. Debra explained every exercise carefully and and worked with me until I was comfortable doing them correctly at home. She was very patient and also provided me with a lot of practical tips that have kept me feeling good. I highly recommend working with Debra. My husband has worked with Andrew Sullivan of Zielinski and Associates with the same great results. In addition the front office staff is friendly and competent. They work with you to schedule appointments, send reminders and help with all the required insurance paperwork.

Still kind of in shock... waiting for someone to pinch me because I truly…read morecan't believe how quickly I went from extreme pain to feeling like myself again within a few days. For context, I'm in my late 30s and have dealt with a herniated disc in my neck and cervical spondylosis (hereditary + a bad car accident) for ~15 years. My flare-ups are usually debilitating... days or even weeks of being stuck in bed. Lately they've been worse and lasting longer. This most recent one hit out of nowhere, 2 weeks after I thought I was recovering after a round of steroids and muscle relaxers... I woke up in the middle of the night with intense, electric pain shooting from my neck down my arm. Even breathing and the impact from just walking hurt my neck. I was honestly considering the ER. To add to the chaos... this was a few days before a Disney trip with my family. I found PMR Danbury while desperately Google searching that morning... and from the first phone call, I knew I was in the right place. Christina was incredibly kind, calm, and efficient... she got me in within the hour and handled everything so quickly (TY again Christina!! You are so wonderful). Then I met Dr. Tilden... and man.... there are no words. He listened thoroughly, assessed everything through an exam/X-rays, and got to work with a level of confidence and skill that instantly put me at ease (even though I was terrified to have anyone touch my neck). He used a mix of treatments (TENS, heat, cupping, stretching, adjustments)... and I felt about 70% relief right there. I genuinely couldn't believe it. All of this in 1-2 hours from consult, X-rays, to immediate treatment same day. He saw me each morning after that to keep the progress going before my trip... and I'm now ~95% better. I never would've dreamt that kind of recovery.. I was totally happy with that 70% and didn't think it could improve that drastically. That speed of recovery is unreal for me based on YEARS of dealing with this. I've done PT, injections, meds... nothing compares to the care, precision, and results I've experienced here. Dr. Tilden is truly exceptional at what he does and the entire experience from start to finish has been stellar.. they have everything you could possibly need there + the best in class to perform these treatments. My advice... If you're in pain/limited physically in any way, don't wait. Don't second guess it. Just book the appointment. You'll be forever grateful you did. I am so incredibly thankful for Dr. Tilden, Christina, and the entire PMR Danbury team... your impact is seriously life changing -- nothing beats having quality of life and being pain-free. I was put into the hands of Dr Craig Tilden. This man saved me. The pain I was experiencing was excruciating!! Over the next month the Doc put me back together. If it wasn't for Dr Tilden I may have ended up on a surgeons table and no one really wants that. I highly recommend therapy first over surgery. So thank you Dr Tilden for everything.
