The iced coffee was served without any option for cream, and the coffee had a noticeably stale, old taste that made it very difficult to enjoy. The drinks were essentially not salvageable, which was disappointing considering coffee was the primary reason for our visit. I'm hoping the café will take this as constructive feedback and consider reviewing the quality and freshness of their coffee. This is a pastry having an identity crisis. The beans were basically the entire personality of the thing. Barely any vegetables. The egg tasted like it had been cooked twice, then sentenced to another cooking session inside the pastry. Everything was doughy, mushy, buttery, and sad. I took a few bites, stared into the distance, questioned my life choices, and eventually threw the damn thing away. And it's $10 now. It was overwhelmingly mocha-heavy to the point where there was barely any discernible coffee flavor, so it was not a hit for him.
