I believe Alive and Well has strong potential to deliver an exceptional experience; however, I…read morecontinue to feel disappointed by the level of service provided, particularly given the amount I invest as a client. To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. However, if you plan to add the functional medicine package, the experience may shift from relaxing to frustrating due to persistent upselling and pressure to enroll in additional memberships.

I followed Sarah from another Dallas med spa to this new med spa in town because she is so…read moreincredibly good at what she does. I go to her for all kinds of facials and beauty treatments. Sarah has over 7 years of experience and is not only good at what she does but you can tell that she loves her work and takes time to perfect her craft. It is also extremely rare to find a quality beautician who does not oversell procedures and treatments. Sarah gives great recommendations that enhances your natural beauty and that is what I love about her work. This new facility has everything you can dream of: cold plunges, IV drips, massages, body treatments, oxygen tanks and much more. They even have a meditation room for sound baths! Their sauna was still under construction when I stopped by to see Sarah last week but I'm excited to try all their amenities in the near future. I can't speak for their membership program as I exclusively see Sarah for treatments but that's also an option for people who see themselves going to med spas frequently. They also have their own in house pharmacy full of supplements and other holistic/natural heath goodies.

I am always looking for new classes and places to try when in Dallas. When Pose closed in November,…read moreI asked my favorite instructor Tara where I can find her, and she told me Satya. I signed up for her all levels class and was offered 10 days unlimited for $20, a deal that truly cannot be beat! It was a great class, so I decided to try Janie's all levels class on Tuesday. It was a challenging class, and I was definitely feeling it in my shoulders! On Wednesday I dragged my mom who was in town and Eric R. to Tara's deep stretch class, a favorite of mine from the other studio. It was just what we needed during a furious holiday week. The studio was closed on Christmas day and I had already booked a class elsewhere Friday, so I returned today (Saturday) for Ashley's power flow class. I walked in nervously as I was not sure I could keep up with a power class, and luckily another person expressed the same concern. Ashley assured us it was just about a fast-paced cardio segment in the middle 20 minutes of class, and she would watch us and adjust pacing if needed. It was a really great class, starting with core work. We did a lot of cool things that I thought were really good for me and even movements I did not think I would be able to do in the past. I felt accomplished at the end of class! I still plan to take yin and gentle yoga to try more classes before my pass runs out on New Year's Eve. A few notes for people new to the studio: the spots are yoga-mat length/shaped raised cork from the floor and the mat goes on top of it. You can use a mat from the studio for free or bring your own. The studio has a lot of props including bolsters, blankets, blocks, foam rollers, and weights. It is very clean and spacious. It feels welcoming for all ages.
