But I was also curious and had an open mind to try it out for the first time. The environment, for the session, was very helpful. It was a comfortable and a non-distracting space. As I was told to lay on my back, close my eyes, and relax. The hypnotherapist's calming voice instructed and helped myself to enter a subconscious mindset. I was asked questions by her that I wanted to know while in this hypnotized state. After the session was complete, I felt a heavy weight was lifted. The hypnotherapist, I now can say, helped my skeptical thoughts of hypnosis to becoming being a firm believer! I was then sent via email, the recording of the session. I was very amazed of my answers by the questions asked. It helped find a new "blueprint" that I can see clearly now. I've had plenty of expeirence working with other reiki healers, but what sets Jenny Bee apart for me is that I can really FEEL her from hundreds of miles away. Doing sessions long distance with her has proven to be profound and to me, that speaks volumes to her abilities. I work a very cerebral job as a research scientist, and my mind is often going a million miles a minute. When I had my first session with Jenny, I was feeling overwhelmed about everything I had on my plate to finish by the end of the day. We dropped in and I immedately felt a wave of calm wash over my body. My mind went from chattering and worrying about my projects and to do list to peace. After a few minutes, I felt myself going into a trace-like state; no talking, just energy. It was like I was floating on a cloud, sunbathing in the most healing light. There was a tingling feeling over my body, kind of like when you're holding two magnets and you feel the energy between them. WOW. After our session I felt totally reborn! I was feeling confident, clear, and refreshed to tackle my to-do list. It was like a total body and mind reset. I was so productive and NOT stressed while doing my work! Such a blessing. I had my first reiki session with Candace about week ago. I walked in not knowing exactly what to expect. The previous weeks (if not months) before my reiki session, I had gone through personal stress and lots of emotional pain. The kind of pain that hurts so much, that you feel there is nothing anyone can do to help. During my reiki session with Candace, from the beginning I felt a soothing feeling throughout my entire body. A healing from within so peaceful, so powerful and so gentle, that it's like I had always felt that well (strange, I realize). It was a feeling of perfect wellbeing. To my surprise, this is something that has not just lasted during the session. For me, there has been a residual that has left me with a clearer state of mind throughout my waking hours. As I write this review, I look back at my past few days after my Reiki session with Candace and even at this present moment, and I realize that my day-to-day tasks are literally more manageable and attainable. At first, it just seemed like finally things were turning out more in my favor. But later, I realized that my new-found clearer state of mind and my focus, had allowed me to get more things done and to see opportunities were I wouldn't see them before. I've always had an open mind to Reiki but never had the chance to try it and WOW I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to have Symona guide my first session for me! She provides the most welcoming and tranquil experience I could of ever asked for. Her presence alone is so calming and warm that there's absolutely zero way you won't absolutely love your experience with her. Tucked away in the coziest, bohemian-esque nook of a sweet nook, you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. A mindful and informative breakdown of what your appointment will look like kicks off the time, then it's to the table you go! Soft, instrumental music playing from a speaker lulls you, while the familiarly comforting scents of incense and palo santo paint a nurturing mood in the room. I felt oh so relaxed that I nearly fell asleep, with an eye mask over my face and a fuzzy blanket covering me. Symona encourages you to "just be," which serves as an undermined reminder in today's age. Connecting with her really reminds you to slow down; that it is more than all right not to be "on" all of the time. The session itself seems so quick perhaps because of the calm atmosphere around you. She also offers both hands-on and hands-off style of reading your energetic channels, which is thoughtful for a teacher who wants the best for you. What I also appreciated was her nourishing language throughout our conversation. I matter of factly inquired which chakras of mine were blocked, to which Symona mentioned that nothing is in fact "blocked," the word itself suggesting that an area of the body and mind cannot be healed, when it can. Any and all of us can improve. My solar plexus and heart chakras were the most effected, yet she softly urged that that is not to say they will always be that way. With Spirit is one special spot for chakra-balancing and healing, what with such a caring mentor leading you through the experience. This dear healer has such a gentle persona and talks to you as if you were a lifelong friend rather than a "client" or "patient." She truly, authentically cares about one's sacred self and their mission to improve, and you can read that through her clearly. Nearing the end of the time, she suggests to lay for a couple minutes to let the reiki integrate, which is when it ends all too soon! What a sanctuary of peace and quietness she provides; you don't want to get up! I've had the pleasure of going to Zanne for Shiva Murti and Reiki healing. For Shiva Murti I had…read moreconcerns with a knee injury from several years ago and I never sought medical treatment. I have found my left knee had been giving out on me about one to two times a month when climbing stairs. Since going for these healing sessions, my knee has not given out once for several months now. Nothing else in my lifestyle has changed that would account for this improvement. The healing started out in a very calming and relaxing manner. You lay down on the table, Zanne sprinkles blessed water over you with a beautiful flower, she burns incense, sings a sacred song and gives you a relaxing scalp and neck massage. She then begins testing your pressure points and search of any energy blockages. As she comes across them, she begins clearing the energy and will not stop until it is cleared. She works her way from your toes all the way up to your head. She ends the ceremony with a cranial sacral massage that leaves you feeling relaxed and refreshed. This past weekend, I had my first Reiki session with Zanne. She began by cleansing me and the space with burning sage that she gracefully wafted over me with a feather. I found that Reiki to be so relaxing and helped me to gain clarity as my chakras were aligned. I could feel the energy coursing through my body as she worked through each chakra. She placed healing crystals over my chakras. She ended the ceremony with a sound healing that was magical. I definitely recommend going to Zanne for energy healing whether it is Shiva Murti or Reiki. She walked me through the healing methods as she worked from head to toe. Prior to my visit with her, I was experiencing serious sinus issues that Western remedies weren't alleviating. I found it fascinating that she could call out areas of ailments or I think what she referred to as blockages without me sharing them with her. I loved the healing modalities that she used. After my session, I explained to her what I was seeing and feeling, and she explained that I had reached a level of meditation, which I did not anticipate nor had experienced before. I felt relaxed and clear-minded. To top it off, it's been about a month since my visit, and I have not had any sinus issues since. I plan on going again to maintain keeping the blockages she cleared free. I also felt it was an amazing way to clear stress, worries, tension, and anxiety.
