Of course, I was a bit skeptical, like anyone might be for the first time doing this. But I already feel such an immense shift in my energy and mindset. And it has only been a couple hours since my first session. I came back home after this session to my sickly dog. I saw she had a service for pets on her website. I had texted her after my session: "Just thought I should let you know (and no rush or anything) but [my dog] has been shaking all day today in his back legs and lower back region He's had back problems before and the vet said they can only really act on emergencies just so worried for my baby." She responded, saying she will do his session in a bit. I didn't have to do anything. Just a couple minutes had gone by and his energy clearly shifted. It was unbelievable. I mean, he was immobile all day and just sad. Then all of a sudden, he's eating, walking around faster than he had been in a couple days, excited to go out. Soraya aggressively tried to recruit me into a Buddhist group throughout the appointment and even texted me the next day about it, which was not what I came for or wanted, nor was it appropriate when I was there solely for energy healing. She also made a lot of pretty offensive statements and generalizations, like about how my trauma "happened for a reason." What an awful and insensitive thing for a so-called healer to say. I went into the appointment with an open mind and at first I considered whether I was missing something, but now I'm certain that the 200 people who've left a 5-star review are all completely insane and must easily fall victim to gimmicks. It was my first and last reiki session because she truly ruined the idea of this practice for me; what a remarkably terrible experience. Save your time and money.
