No matter how bad inflation gets one thing I can rely on from Reinas is great Papusas that are priced fairly! I highly recommend their chicken and cheese Papusa along with an order if fried plantains. Ate 3 Papusa and a plate of plantains and I was full for the rest of the day. I'm sure the other food they have is great as well but I have a hard time straying from the Papusa. If you haven't gave them a chance yet definitely try it out! read more

We love Thursday $1 pupusas. Their pupusas are great , but their service is very unprofessional . Women who work the counter are very caddy and have no sense of urgency. We arrived and there was 2 waitresses working with customers at 4 tables. For some reason it took 12 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order. Order took along time which is normal when ordering pupusas. I just do not understand why over 15 minutes. Then mine came out 6 minutes before the other order came out. The pupusas were not too bad. I order chicken catracho I wait about 30 minutes and no sign of my food ,I call the waiter and told me she will check, was just a few costumers, finally I got my food and was disgusting everything was paling together with ketchup and some mayonnaise spread all over. These were the best pupusas I've had in a long time. My friend brought me here when I visited. They tasted homemade, I will definitely make it a point to come here again next time I visit Houston. So unprofessional restaurant. I called to place my order. As I'm placing a large order she's talking and laughing with her co-workers. She also hung up on me as I'm finishing up dictating my order. I had to call again and replace my order. Once I get there after telling me it'll be 15-20 minutes, I wait an extra 30 minutes for my order as if she never had started making it. Finally my order comes out and as I'm paying, I ask her if the "curtido" (Pupusa salad) was within the bag. She said yes. As I arrive home after 10 minutes I open it and happen to find... NO CURTIDO. I had to go out of my way to DRIVE back and tell her she never placed it into my order. She had the audacity to tell me there was curtido in my bag and I continued to tell her there wasn't any in my bag. She then rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen and said something where all the other women began to laugh. She then comes out hands me my curtido and never apologized for the mistake. Also, as I was paying she was looking for a pen so I could sign the receipt and she takes one out of her hair. That was so disgusting. The pen was so warm and greasy. That restaurant is so unprofessional. And it's ran by disrespectful women. If only management or owner of restaurant would fix and educate their people. Never again will I go back.
