Are they pleasant while being professional - without a doubt. No they don't have a senior citizen's discount or a blind folks discount - yep I asked. I really wanted to have a good experience with Reinhold. We've used them in the past and they did good work, we thought... recently our garage's power stopped working, which is fed by a panel on the pole that they installed in August of 2022. We NEVER had a single electrical issue until after that pole was installed which is starting to make sense. A few months ago we began having electrical issues in our house, so we called Reinhold because we thought they did a good job when installing the pole that fell in 2022. The technicians that were out to see what the cause of the electrical issues in the house were said that the lines under ground were corroded (which may have been true), so we accepted to let them fix it. They hand dug by the electric pole, buried conduit and ran new wire to the house and everything seemed to be fine until we recently started having issues with the electric in our garage. The location where they dug and buried the conduit for the wire going to the house is in a very close location to where the conduit goes for the wires going from the pole to the garage. I called for an estimate and was told $5,000 worse case scenario which may be understandable considering that would include cutting asphalt, trenching, new conduit, new wire and labor so I get that. Upon receiving this news I decided to just take care of it myself. I went to the building department for our county to take the test to do residential electric work, paid for the permit to be pulled, had everything cleared with Missouri 811 incase I needed to dig and bought $700 worth of new wire. I pulled the old wire, saw that there was a break in the wire due to corrosion from water getting in the conduit underground so I started digging right where the conduit meets the pole that Reinhold installed just to see if there was a break in the conduit. Sure enough, there's a small section of conduit that was crudely placed over where the old conduit underground is and the new conduit where they installed the pole. They had it lightly wrapped in what looks like some kind of landscape fabric (thought it was electrical tape at first). So there was no protection in the conduit against water getting in which was what caused the wire to corrode to the point of no longer working. Mind you, Reinhold is THE ONLY company we've had at our house for electrical work since owning the house. When I saw this piece of conduit being very improperly "connected", I took pictures, and videos and sent them to the estimator who came out to give me a quote for fixing the electrical issue in the garage. He said he would give me a call back after speaking with the technicians that were there more recently to fix the electrical issue with the house as well as the ones who installed the pole in August of 2022. After speaking with them he said that none of them claimed to do that and that their technicians would never do something like that and all these denials of my claim. He then told me that he could come out and fix it for $500-$600 FOR A 3" LONG SECTION OF CONDUIT THAT NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED FROM THEIR PREVIOUS WORK. I am not the type to ask for free stuff from ANYONE, I'm incredibly happy to pay for good service by good people and I thought that's what we were doing with Reinhold until yesterday. They completely denied the fact that their technicians made a mistake, and didn't offer to fix the issue or anything. I was told that all of the technicians that have been on our property did not do it and that it would be $500-$600 to fix something they installed incorrectly. I understand if a technician didn't remember every little detail from a job they did in 2022, but there is no integrity or accountability on their part with this issue. It was either done in 2022 when the new pole was installed or a few months ago when the new wire was put in with new conduit by REINHOLD. read more

I have moved into a new place and needed several electrical services to be performed. I needed two tv cut in boxes installed involving moving of outlets, a and two heavy ceiling lighting fixtures installed. Tyler from Reinhold was courteous, efficient, listened and was easy to talk to, and respectful of my home. Tyler analyzed each job before starting to ensure he came up with the least invasive solution so that damage to walls was minimized. He performed all four jobs within a half day and I was extremely satisfied with the work he performed. I am an older woman and this is the best electrical service I have ever received. Reinholdt did a great job wiring my new front porch. They added a new line to the service panel, wired up a new ceiling light and added an outdoor receptacle that we didn't previously have! Brian was fantastic! He was attentive, friendly and quick, and took great care to not get the carpet dirty when wiring the inside switch. Called for an estimate on multiple projects in our home (whole-house generator, updating security cameras, repairing deck lights, new line in garage for EV charging, and a couple of miscellaneous items). Estimator came on 10/4/23. He didn't seem exactly excited to be here, but could've been having a bad day. Two months later, we still haven't heard from them. No calls, no e-mails, no contact. I called the office 2-3 weeks ago to inquire and confirm contact information. Nice lady there said she would remind the estimator to contact us, but still nothing. Completely ghosted. Total fail. Too bad because we've used them before and they were good. Never again. read more

Definitely stay away from this company!! bought 2 cummins generators from these people. Spent $25,000 to add these unit to two different house. Neither unit has ever worked correctly. Call them numerous times to fix them and they work for about a week then they stop! I've needed these generators 4 times and they have only worked once. You would think someone in that company would give a crap but apparently now I'm not getting anyone to call me back. So I've had to call Cummins service out of Saint Louis. Hopefully they will be able to help. My advise to Reinhold electric is, stop selling generators you can't install correctly!!! read more

They are nice when you call them on the phone. But they don't call you back. Or at least never called me back. I've called twice to schedule service / repairs and get an estimate. And I haven't been called back either time. I was referred to them but will likely not be using them and certainly would refer them to any one. My friend that referred me said they were cheaper than his other bids. Maybe you get what you pay for. Shopping somewhere else. read more

NONUNION sent out young kids without experience installing Ceiling fans. First kid came out to fix the pull switch. Removed my low speed resistor, leaving me without low speed. And Left a open hot wire that Shocked The next worker got shocked and almost fell off ladder. Problem not fixed. 3rd person didn't have a clue how to install a ceiling fan. Took 8 hours to install 2 out of 3 fans Left the trash & Screws fall on floor. Pull chains not installed through holes. Missing mounting screws. 2 FANS THEY ORDERED WERE JUNK poor lighting 1 was returned due to junk light. Worker spent most of the day talking on his cell phone, trying to get his Car worked on. After confirming that they did lamp repairs, I dropped off a very dear to me lamp and over the course of a month called back 2 or 3 times for an update of which every time was asked my name and number for a promised a call back. Not only did this company a) not repair it, but b) fail to even call me to tell me to come get it if they didn't want to deal with it, and lastly, c) not call me back after begging for an update. When I went there to take it back, they said sorry, but they didn't have any information on it. I thought, I guess when I dropped it off my contact got thrown out, and must have never really been taken down every time I called. As I turned to leave, they said they said they could fix it probably by tomorrow or the next few days. I replied, "At this point, no way. I'm done." Being busy and not having time doesn't upset me. Of course no one's happy when they can't be worked in, but at the end of the day, that's great and I am happy for your business to be that sought after. However, I don't see how this could be that- if not pure negligence, I don't know what. If was almost as if someone said, what, are you kidding me, a lamp, don't even bother calling back, we have bigger fish to catch- she'll get the message eventually and come and get it. Don't worry, I'll never waste this company's time again. But I can't forgive them for wasting mine. read more
