Customer service report #30120330…read more JUDGEMENTAL MANAGER. I attended Kate Spade this morning at around opening to buy a wallet. I wasn't dressed to the 9s but regardless I am a potential customer if I make it into the store. When I got to the store, to my surprise there was a matching card holder as well. I struggled to find a price tag and asked the closest rep which happened to be the manager, she seemed already irritated at me for asking what the price was. And when I couldn't find the tag and said oh I was looking for the green tag and snapped at me and said "it's not green anymore it's actually pink." Forgive me for not knowing what color tags you have in your store, you work here, you're expected to be knowledgeable on that, it's unnecessary to snap at a customer over it. I then take both wallets and wandered the store for maybe another 20 ish minutes and inspected the wallets and I found some marks on the wallets so I wanted to ask another rep if they had anymore since the manager was SOOO unapproachable to begin with. As the rep was was looking for more, she could not find any so she went to ask the manager. At this point I followed not that far from the rep I overheard her ask the manager if there was anymore. To which the manager replied "what we have on the floor is all we have, except she's not going to buy anything anyway" referring to me who was literally standing close enough to hear the entirety of that interaction. The manager then noticed I was literally standing right there and overheard her backhanded comment and walked away. Another thing I don't quite understand is, you're literally less than an hour into opening, it's your job to be here. You get paid regardless of the sale, can you please do your job and be kind about it? If not, please do not do retail. It does customers and the company a HUGE favor. Cheers. Shout out to Clover for trying to cover for your manager but I heard the whole conversation. I appreciate that you were trying to be professional despite that.

3 hours ago NEW This…read morestore is the worst!!! All they do is give you the run around! We had price tags coming up incorrectly and they wouldn't give us the price that was marked on the tag! They had us wait till next day to talk with store manager Corine who told us she could do nothing and to call customer service. So I call them they tell me it's a store issue talk to the regional manager Jamie. I explained everything and Jamie said will investigate and call me back and doesn't. So I called customer service again spoke with Sina who starts accusing me and asking if I took pictures or have proof! Had another call from Corine the manager where she hung up on me! Are you kidding me. What kind of store is this! Absolutely insane! Run from this store!

The Ladies working in this store have to be the rudest women I have come across in all of my years…read moreof shopping which is greatly disappointing since I had such a fabulous experience at their Edmonton South Common location. I had the other store (Edmonton South Common, five out of five stars in my books- see my review) put a formal dress on hold for me for a pick up. The women working in this store managed to startle me with their over inflated attitudes. The sales lady I asked for my dress looked me up and down and then presumed to sneer at ME. Really? What a stark and remarkable difference from a year ago when my Hubs went in to buy me a sweater on his own and was ecstatic with the service he got. I have to suppose it is because of the turnover here. Every time I am in, the staff is never the same. I wouldn't be shopping here at all if it weren't for the petite, professional section. I can't possibly relay the extent of the offensive behaviour of the women working in this store because you would never believe me. I warned you... Maybe once they turnover their entire staff AGAIN it will be better.

In the meantime, there's enough construction here to imagine the possibilities. That includes the retail outposts like Liz & Lottie who have staked their success on their stylish taste and the promise of a lot more foot traffic past their shop. I wandered on a recent Friday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed this version of retail therapy. Liz & Lottie is more geared perhaps to those who are "sugar and spice and everything nice", but for folks like me (e.g. snips and snails and puppy dog tails), there some interesting things, plus loads of gift opportunities. I also enjoyed their nice selection of local and Canadian items and their good taste in selecting and displaying their wares. Liz & Lottie was definitely worth the extra bit of East Village discovery exploration. Best wishes for your continued success.

My super stylish and in the know sister in law has been finding awesome gifts at Liz & Lottie for everyone in the family since they've opened and I have been following them on Instagram to keep tabs on the new items coming into the shop. The two owners are super kind and helpful, I've messaged them on Instagram with shopping requests/items I am looking for and they have sent me back pictures of products they have in store that match the request -- how nice is that! I often visit on my lunch break as they are tucked into the East Village at the bottom of one of the high rises but it's easy to get there either from walking through the river walk, taking the train to the end of the free line then going for a short stroll or driving right up there. On this visit I walked away with gift for four upcoming events! A sassy and slightly inappropriate valentines card for my husband, a baby shower gift, a gender reveal party gift and a birthday party gift. Trust me I could have kept shopping! Great place to find all sorts of treasures including local and Canadian makers which is so great to see.
