Great store, a little cramped at times when there is a lot of people inside. Otherwise it has a lot of great items!

Great little Asian pharmacy. Lots of makeup, face masks, and other pharmacy products. The snack selection is great. Lots of goodies including hi chew and pocky. Very reasonable prices as well. Definitely come here!

Charged me for the wrong blind box/item

Not a huge deal but did bother me bc no one wants to be charged for the wrong item/overcharged. The boxes i bought were supposed to be 8.59 for the disney ones and i remember oh thats cheaper than usual so i grabbed 2 and i just happen to snap a pic for family, they charged me 13.59 a box on the receipt :/

This is my first time visiting the store. It has varieties Japanese high-quality products, but not crazy expensive. Take Excel eyebrow pencil as an example. I have bought $3x dollars on Amazon. However, here it is only $20-ish with taxes. To my understanding, I believe that this store is better than Chinatown's. I would highly recommend this store to all my friends.

Came here with the girlfriend since there is a new Japanese shop in town! I've been missing Japan and this is one way to get that Japan vibe and Reiwatakiya does not disappoint. They have many items that comes straight from Japan. There are some meds and mints that I was only able to get in Japan, but found them here. Not only that but they have a huge variety of makeup items if you are into it. They also have a wide variety of snacks, and I am so glad to have found Irvin's Salmon Skin snack here!! I've been searching everywhere for those. If you are around the area, definitely check them out. The staff are really nice and the store has so much Japanese items.

Awesome little Japanese beauty supply store. Great customer service, very clean and organized store, and a nice selection of cheap, mid-range, and high end products. Would love to come back here and try some of their face/body washes.

Customer service is terrible, the employees and company do not seem to watch customers to come back! I won't come back again!

Testers were fresh and I was able to try out most of the products on my hand while browsing. Besides skincare, they also have tools and makeup! I was shocked to see my beloved Innisfree powder amongst the shelves, along with some TonyMoly and a variety of cute lipsticks and glosses. I came here looking for a specific moisturizer, a pack of eyebrow razors, and any other fun skincare tools I could find. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the brand of skincare I was looking for, and the eyebrow razors were a bit overpriced for my taste. Not sure if the owner is still getting the shop set up or if she just got a shipment in, but there were a TON of unpacked boxes behind the counter and on the floor. It was a bit difficult to maneuver around the store, and the bottom of my coat was covered in dust from brushing up against the boxes on my way out :( Ultimately, I would suggest coming here if you want personalized recommendations (the owner is very skincare savvy) or if you want to see a product in person before purchasing. They mostly have higher end products and not many brands I use, so I probably won't be back unless I'm in need of my Korean makeup staples.

Skincare, haircare, makeup, and even some beauty tools cover the walls from top to bottom. I stopped by because I was looking for kbeauty sheet masks for the drier weather and ended up leaving with two Dr. Jart masks. These were only $4.25/ea compared to the $6 I would have paid at Sephora. The ladies seemed super nice too. If you're looking for some kbeauty, definitely give this place a shot.

I have had them before, but at a spa/salon in Swampscott (had a Groupon!), and they lashes would fall out in clumps and just looked a mess. My first impressions of the store was - WOW, it is TINY! I wonder where my extensions will take place! It happened to be in a nook of the room behind the cashier's desk, but the adjustable spa bed was pretty comfortable, and although it was a small space, I was still comfortable! At this point, my eyelashes were very short like they were cut off because of the damage done to them from the other spa's poor work. Amy asked me a few questions on how I would like my eyelashes - natural? Was this a one time thing for an event, etc? I wanted them to be natural looking, but long enough so that they were alluring. Amy did exactly that! She spent 2 hours gluing eyelashes on each of my short broken eyelashes. Amy = eyelash saver. And the receptionist/saleswoman/cashier at the front was also SUPER friendly. Since it was at 11am on a Saturday, it was really just the 3 of us in the store, but it felt like the 2 hours was only 20 minutes because we were all cracking jokes, laughing and just shooting the breeze. They were easy going, funny and very friendly. 3 weeks later, I went back for my refill - the eyelashes held up really well, and the refill only took 30-40 minutes and the place has SO MUCH good stuff (skincare, hand lotion, make up, etc). Amy really knows her stuff as she's been in the makeup/skincare/cosmetic industry for decades, although she looks so young!!!!!! Anyway, enough of this. If you want good service, good quality work, and someone who knows her stuff in terms of makeup/skincare/cosmetics, The Beauty Mark is the place to go. No questions about it.

We walked into a clean, organized store with the signature pink aesthetic carried through consistently, and the scent in the air when we came in from Newbury Street was enough on its own to pull us through the door. The format here is testers only on the sales floor, with staff retrieving purchased items from the back when you are ready to buy. That setup keeps the space uncluttered and shifts the focus toward trying things rather than browsing packaged product, which suits the brand's approach to beauty and makes the in store experience feel more like a studio than a shop. We found that skin tint and concealer color matching in particular benefits from the in person format in a way that online shopping cannot replicate, and the staff are trained to assist with that process rather than just pointing at the display. The service quality is consistently one of the strong aspects of this location. The staff know the products well and approach the interaction as an actual conversation about what you are looking for rather than a push toward a purchase, a distinction that is noticeable. The store gets busy on weekends, and Newbury Street foot traffic can make the experience feel rushed during peak hours. We found that weekday visits offer a more relaxed version of the same space and more one on one time with the staff if you have specific questions. For a beauty shopping experience that bridges the gap between online and physical retail effectively, Glossier on Newbury Street is a well executed stop.

The current perfume display is lovely and was something I specifically came to the store to see. I only needed one item this visit.
