I go to Ana, she moves right along. So many other salons waste time in chat, but not this Salon. Never had to wait long, or else I make an appointment. Clean tub for pedicures and nice and warm water. My gel nails last 2 weeks on my manicure and at least 1 month plus on pedicure. Very nice work, many viewers notice, even business people working in non-related stores that ask me 'where did you get your nails done'? My friends ask me too. I got a gel set done here recently for a special occasion. In a nut shell: I asked for a gel set, and repeated over and over that I wanted 'fake nails' (nail tech's english was very bad). I was confused when she started applying polish to my regular nails and stopped her and turns out none of them really listened to me and were just going to give me gel polish. After discussing it with the whole salon she finally applies the nails but she puts on acrylic set (not a gel set like I asked) and made them EXTREMELY thick from the side. And I mean super thick, like there was a cliff between the bottom of my nail and my skin it was so thick it would get caught in my hair. She ignored my request to make them thinner I just gave up. The polish looked good enough and it got the job done but definitely not going back there. Details below: When I came in they asked what I wanted, I said 'gel set' (because that's what it was called at other salons) and they said what color so i said 'french' and showed a picture and she was like yes this will be very fast which confused me because fake nails arent fast. So I said 'with fake nails right? gel set?' and she said yes yes and put me in the chair and went to work (her english was very bad but she was friendly, we had to repeat a lot). She asked me what shape and length i wanted my natural nails and i said ' it doesnt matter I'm getting fake nails right? Whatever length' so she said 'yes yes' and cut it and continued. When she put a clear coat on my natural nails i was more suspicious but thought she's doing her own thing I should trust the process but then the moment she started applying the colored polish to my regular nails I stopped her 'Are you still doing the fake nails?' and then like three other people had to help us translate and the owner kept saying ' you just said gel you didn't say full set' but I said gel set because that's how it is in other salons that's why I kept emphasizing the fake nail part and full set can also mean acrylic. And I just realized actually she applied an acrylic set not a gel set UGH. Anyway she had to shave off the clear coat and put on fake nails and the full set was HORRIBLE. Literally the worst I've ever had. They were so so so thick from the sides and I kept saying 'can you make them thinner they look extremely thick from the side view' and she just shaved a little bit it was just horrible. Honestly from a distance they looked good but obviously fake. When I went to remove them I soaked in acetone for 5 HOURS before getting these things off and they definitely damaged my nails still. Just horrible, I gave the nail tech a huge tip just because I felt bad for the confusion and she tried to be nice. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I made an appointment for 3:30 and they made me wait until 4:45 for my treatment. They painted my nails the wrong color and charged me $5 extra because I got a "special cat eye" gel nail manicure instead of a regular, without even telling me beforehand. I cannot believe after calling to make an appointment and showing up on time I waited over an hour for my manicure, not to mention clients that came in after I did were helped faster than me. Additionally, the manicure job itself is subpar. Since they painted the wrong color originally, I ended up with about 5 layers of polish on my nails and now my nails are bumpy and they also didn't file 2 of them. My boyfriend and I went to go get pedicures and we are very disappointed. They were friendly however, I have never seen a dirtier place in my life. My boyfriend got an infection on his toe after they dug into his nail and made it bleed. they use the SAME TOOLS ON EVERYONE WITHOUT CLEANING THEM. After they scrubbed the dead skin off my boyfriends feet and made him bleed they didn't clean out the bowl for the next girl. All they did was wipe it down with the SAME soap they used in his feet. I felt horrible for the girl next to me and I should have asked for my money back. I will never go back and they should be shut down. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. read more

My main requirements in a nail place are that it's close by, inexpensive yet still legit, and reasonable cleanliness. Rejuva Nails fits the bill in all of these categories. I don't find the technicians to be overly friendly, which is fine with me, since I get my nails done to relax, not socialize. I did feel like my first couple visits the assertive questions about whether I wanted a brow wax were kinda throwing some shade my way, but it's not the first place that's happened--my brows tend to be on the Brooke Shields side of things (remember her? Who's the present-day version? Cara Delavingne?). Anyway, now that I'm somewhat of a regular, that shadiness has stopped. The pedicure is among the best and longest lasting I've ever gotten. The technical skill there is very good, and the hot stones as part of the regular pedi are the BESSSSSST. I have no idea if they offer other types of pedis because they've never tried to upsell me, which is great. I've also had several good manicures here, mostly the UV gel kind. The last one I got was a little thick, which was less than ideal. It did, however, last through a month of grad school visits. Even though I did have to get four nails redone after a week and ya half of so, the rest held up well for the entire month. And they redid the four nails for free, which I very much appreciated. I have no idea if that's standard, at their discretion, or because I'm a semi-regular who tries to tip well. read more

You will never be taken in a timely matter EVEN with an appointment and the quality of the manicures are poor. I had an appointment for 6:15 but arrived around 5:40 thinking I can take some time to look at the colors I WAS WRONG! I came in and told the lady I was early for my appointment. She acknowledged that I was getting a color gel manicure and told me to pick a color... not once or twice but about 15-22 times. I picked a few colors and asked to see the brand before taking a seat in the chair. I asked to see the brand in order to make sure it was the gellish brand because all other brands start to chip within 4 days on my nails. EVERY color I asked to see was the brand that I didn't like... I asked for a similar color in the brand I do like but the woman kept showing me a yellow orange color... I explained to 2 women that I did not like the brand they kept showing me... one woman even said that she's worked with me before and that the orange color looked nice on me.... WHAAAT. Even the ladies getting their nails done were trying to help me lol... I just walked out. I do not enjoy being pressured when they know I'm about to spend money on a manicure. I love this nail salon. They always take their time to do a good job. It is the only nail salon in the area that offers paraffin wax with all manicures and a hot stone massage with all pedicures at no extra charge.
