I scheduled a regular manicure. My manicurist was unfriendly, did not make eye contact and extremely rough. They charged for the file on top of the charge for the manicure. When she filed my nails she filed the side of my nail so hard that I was bleeding. When she cut my cuticles she cut my finger so I had 2 bloody fingers. She did not apologize for hurting me. I have been going to Anna for over 11 years on and off. I went Monday, December 8, 2025, and she did a gel mani/pedi as always. I was to meet her at 9:30 AM and told her I would be a few minutes late. I arrived at 9:35 AM and no Anna; texted her and she said she would be there at 9:45 AM...10:00 AM Anna arrived. Anna did not cover my nails completely and she knew it before I went to have my pedi. As she was doing my gel mani I said "Anna!" and she saw me looking at them! I always pay cash and tip very well. I contacted Anna two days later with a message and pictures; she told me that she would fix them. Now, when I make contact to firm up returning Thursday, December 18, 2025, she tells me she is too busy and I can come on Sunday. Sunday works for Anna's schedule perfectly as she works at Kim's on Front Street on Sundays! And I have the messages confirming me returning Thursday, December 18, 2025. I have been happy with my mani/pedi in the past and little-by-little Anna started not covering my complete nail and this last time was blatantly obvious. I'm so glad one of my coworkers recommended this nail salon to me. Chi did my nails and she did a phenomenal job, haven't had such a good manicure in months. It's so hard to find a good nail tech. She did exactly what I wanted One star removed because they do NOT practice social distancing here. Everyone wears a mask but the salon was completely booked up. It was BUSY on a Tuesday evening around 5pm. Every chair was full. It made me a little uneasy, so next time I will go very early in the morning so hopefully not as many people are there. They made my nails a totally different shape than I wanted and the lady wasn't willing to correct them

I stopped here yesterday on my way home from work, and I was thoroughly impressed! They got me in immediately. And gave me the nicest manicure I think I've ever had. And their price point was not bad at all! I got a dip manicure, and I was worried because other places have made them too large and bulky. I told my nail technician that, and he said not to worry. And he was totally right! I'm so happy with them. C*vid precautions were still in place, even as NY is chilling out more. I was pretty happy with that. There's a $3 charge to get your own nail buffer and file, as they do not share. Which I also was happy about. Overall, great experience. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I got a pedicure here not too long ago, and the water in the tub burnt my toes to the point of me audibly gasping and yelling out in pain. The tub had to be refilled with cold water to get it to a temperature that the pedicurist would even touch. I left the salon and paid for the pedicure that day. My feet turned bright red and are swollen, and a couple days later I was still feeling pain. I had to seek medical care for this issue, and my doctor advised that I elevate the issue and at the very least get my money back. I went into Tommy's to ask if I could get my money back and he refused and kept telling me to "prove it" to him and that showing him my feet (which are still red and swollen) doesn't prove anything. He embarrassed me in front of the whole store. I am disappointed as I used to be a loyal customer, and I will make sure to let me friends and family know that they should take their business elsewhere--ideally a place that cares about the wellbeing of their customers. read more

During my time in Bing, I went here religiously. It's sanitized, not far, and usually quite busy. This is definitely the best/my favorite nail salon in the area, but it's kinda wack compared to the better salons in NYC. Prices are not that cheap for a mediocre set. It really depends on which nail tech you get, because some are more skilled than others, especially when asking for a design. A lot of the times, they file my skin too hard and cause my finger to bleed. Some of the nail techs try to make small talk with you, and one of my friends actually had an annoying experience with the male owner who was doing her nails. He kept asking questions about her personal life, and continuously reacted to her answers in a condescending way. She was getting noticably irritated, but he persisted with the questioning. It was my first time going to this nail salon and basically I was played out of my money. Every time I tried to add up the service I was given it was no where near worth 65 dollars! It sad the length people would go to play you out of your money. The starting price for a full set is 25 with length and shape it all adds up to at least $45, I even told her what I wanted before had as well and she still over charged me. Where did the extra $20 come from. The length of each nail is not the same, I have a very crooked nail on my index finger as well and the nails are thin as hell, Not much acrylic used anyway. So I basically got scammed out money for no reason. It's sad when you go to support someone's business and this is the treatment you get. We had a girls day out and they were able to get all 5 of us in for pedis right when we walked in the door in a Sat afternoon. Staff was very nice and helpful. The salon is very large and clean and bright and nicely laid out. Huge selection of polish colors. Pedi chairs were newer and probably the nicest I've ever been in. A month ago I treated a friend and I to acrylics, and mine were lovely, ofc like any salon, not perfect but definitely pretty. I spent nearly 120$ on us for acrylics with gel polish, don't get me wrong I loved it...till I'm removing my nails. They were done with something called MMA acrylic and monomer. Which had been banned by the fda and even illegal in many states. It's caustic, toxic and bad for your nails. And can cause permanent damage to not only your nails...but your lungs. First impression - was really clean. It felt like an upscale doctor's appointment where you sit in a waiting room and they call your name. The staff is exceedingly friendly. The atmosphere is inviting, calm, and pleasant. Tina was my nail technician. She was very understanding and patient with me. Looking forward to stopping by again! I don't know this man's name, but he was awful. He nicked my cuticle and I said "OW" and flinched and he just looked at me. Uneven lengths, crazy angles of the tips, elevation of the tips and a bizarre round shape reminiscent of a pumpkin. When she asked for a squoval. The Male that owns the shop is rude and more rude to Black's more than anybody. The rules are for all to sit in the car after sign in and you'll be called in when they're ready for you. That's cool and great due to covid regulations, But, it's not cool when your black and asked to sit in your car with the rudest and other customers that are not are asked to wait inside in their waiting area,, and spoken to with courtesy. He's Horrible and the lord will fix him. I got a pedicure and manicure for a special occasion - opted for regular polish on my nails and am underwhelmed by how they look. For my fingernails I chose dip with gel on top - i'm EXTREMELY disappointed in how quickly they lifted from the edges of my nails - i went back to have them fixed and they took 5 minutes to dremel the sides - they now look like they've been filed around the edges - i don't have the time or energy to call again, but I definitely will not be going back - i spent a LOT of money for nails that didn't last a week. read more

Traveled an hour just to come here waited for a specific person ( 2 hours ) I had been waiting just to get taken care of and when I asked them how long they said 20 minutes I said okay I'll be right out here in front in my car so when it's ready let me know or call .. so here I am waiting in the car for the person to finish and when I come back in after 6 minutes in my car they sat someone else that was after me even though I've waited HOURS.
