And the practitioner was focused on listening to me and asked gently probing questions to make sure she understood not just why I was there but making sure she had an overall context of my health and concerns. She was professional, ultra courteous and brilliant. Exactly the kind of person you want on your, health team. My acupuncture treatment was very easy on me, and I appreciated the explanations she gave. I would highly recommend this place for anyone, whether you're new to acupuncture or experienced. I also appreciated her showing me some simple stretches I can do on my own. Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Just visiting SFO, staying nearby, and was hesitant to commit to paying for 90min deep tissue not having experienced any of their therapists before. With lots of massage experience, I'm very critical of technique and therapeutically applied deep pressure in known spots as well as compensatory trigger areas that can help release adhesions nearby. Mere minutes into massage from Randall it was clear he knew what he was doing and I was able to relax and sync my breathing with the penetrating pressure he was aptly delivering, sometimes with strong, slow motion and other times by helpfully holding on a pain point until it released a little. Some of the better deep tissue work I've experienced. After 90min I was feeling rejuvenated with good range of motion without soreness. If I lived in the area, I'd be going back for regular sessions with Randall. read more

The reviews here are accurate - I had a full body with hot stones massage, and Alice made me feel like new. She was kind, professional, and is very good at what she does. The location was close to my hotel the St Regis (7 minutes walking), the space was super clean, peaceful and warm... a nice respite from the cold winter we have been having here with the storms. The stones were the perfect temperature and she worked out so many aches and the stiffness in my body. She didn't cut the time short, she didn't seem to get tired, and really knew how to help my body. The receptionist recommended Alice, and I am SO glad he did! She has consistently given me some of the best deep tissue massages that I have ever had in my life. When I saw her for the first time in January, I got the most relief from a massage in my entire life. I was able to go almost double the normal time between visits. Even my chiropractor said it was like a brand new body! She is always super kind, and gets the areas needed without needing to tell her much. Unfortunately I don't live close by or I would be here probably weekly, if possible. I had the pleasure of having Sai work on me and it was pretty intense. Yes, I felt pain and almost ready to cry but I knew I had to endure this pain to get relief. Sai used deep tissue, cupping and hot stones to help release the tension and pain. I knew this wasn't going to be one of those massages that puts me to sleep the moment she started. But I needed something effective and I'm glad I stopped by. Sai gets 10 out of 10, she's awesome and knows how to pinpoint the pain almost immediately! Insane how she even knew places to go, no one has ever come close to her skill. I found this place since the place I usually go to was closed on Tuesdays. I tried the first time massage with Alice. I think she did a combination of deep tissue, Swedish and Thai massage. She knew where all the muscle knots were on my back and was really attentive to helping relieve them. The best massage I've ever had. He was super intuitive about how to work with me. A lot of work on my hips, IT bands, neck and back, everywhere!! I was able to get an appointment with Gen at House of Rejuvenate same-day, and the difference has been dramatic. Often times I've had massage therapists pay no special attention to my requested area and simply go through their routine as usual. Writing a long overdue updated review! I've been coming here for about 3 years now and am SO happy I discovered this place when I did. I've been seeing Bill consistently through out the 3 years. Bill is not only incredibly kind, but he is one of the best masseur if you enjoy deep tissue. I tend to get really tight shoulders and have chronic pain. Every time I see Bill, I leave feeling 100% better and he even gives me tips to help stretch extra tight muscles. Sai is also an incredible masseuse and business owner. Wow! I booked a couples massage for my husband and I for my birthday trip in mid October and I couldn't be happier. We were in separate rooms which we didn't mind at all. Wendy did an amazing job on me. They did initially ask us if there was anything we wanted to focus on, which for me was my upper back as I work in an office all day. She nailed it! The place was very clean and they provide you with disposable slippers for you to put on before you enter. The room I was in had the most relaxing ambience. The music was subtle and added to the relaxation. Parking is funky due to the location. We came on a Friday and could not find any available meters so we opted for a parking garage. We found a great food truck just around the corner from here which was a huge plus! lol We will definitely be back to see these guys again! read more

This place is awesome! My wife and I came for a couple's massage during my birthday, and we loved every minute of it! The masseuse started off by asking us if we wanted them to focus on certain areas, if anything was hurting or bothering us as far as our body. I wanted her to focus on my neck and so she did. IT WAS AMAZING to say the least. Although our next visit we'll make sure to request for a softer massage. At some point it got a bit too painful, but it was totally in our control as she asked me several times if I wanted her to go easier, but I was acting too tough and didn't speak up. lol Definitely not their fault. I absolutely love House of Rejuvenate. I came in for a deep tissue massage with Bill after last minute booking online which was so easy on their website by the way, and it was perfect. Let me start by saying that I was in terrible pain after a long backpacking trip and I could barely move my neck after pinching it without a proper pillow in my tent. Bill is a godsend. I have had hundreds of massages over the years thanks to back and neck issues after a car accident and Bill is one of the best. Not only is he able to give a truly deep tissue massage, he was so thoughtful with the eye cover, hot rice bags (at least I think they were rice bags) and placement and re-placement of the face cradle and leg pillows. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed the entire hour and it was exactly what I needed. When I came out of the room to pay, Bill had left a glass of water and a homemade cookie for me. This place is truly a gem in FiDi! Online scheduling making booking a breeze, and you have multiple masseuses to choose from (they have bios included so you can choose someone for your pressure tolerance!) I never know who to choose, but I had Bee last time and really enjoyed my session with her. Location is in a small building on Market Street (right by a BART stop), and you go inside and downstairs to start your relaxation. As soon as you enter, it's like another world - no cars, no yelling, no people constantly bustling... just soothing noise as you wait for your session to begin. Everyone, including the receptionist, is polite and kind. Each massage therapist I've had has been patient and also quick to check in if pressure or movement is okay, but also quiet and slow enough to focus on the relaxation aspect. Sessions are punctual, but they always give you ample time to redress and get ready to approach the world again. You can also rest a little (and drink water/eat some snacks) in the lobby before you leave. Prices are on the online booking, and honestly aren't that bad for the quality (and consistency!) of massage you get here. Highly, highly recommend if you're in need of some relaxation - they always made the rest of my week so much better. read more

I was having awful neck pain and was able to book their 45 minute masssage only a few hours before the time. I went on my lunch break and it was the perfect session. I had Wendy and she did a GREAT job. It was amazing how much she accomplished in 45 minutes. She was super knowledgeable and went through every pectoral muscle.
