Alise has tailored her Thai massage to my body to address the unusual circumstances of my condition, hyper sensitivity. Her fluid movements and exact pressure relaxes areas that medication and acupuncture cannot reach. Over time this professional sensitivity has allowed me to lie on my stomach, fall asleep on the table, and feel safe in her hands. I did not realize how much stress I carried in my feet until she focused on the area. I had never had a foot massage. But the slow intensive care that she has devoted to them has changed not only my posture but my appreciation for an area of my body I've taken for granted all my life. I was very excited to try a new massage place where I can get my normal massages. I even made it a girls day by helping my friend schedule a Swedish massage. After arriving, I was being climbed on. It hurt like the dickens. I was hoping it would change and she would move on but it didn't happen so I spoke up and told her that I wanted a Swedish relaxing massage. She tried but I don't think that is their style because it just felt awkward. There was no flow and was just not pleasant. At one point, I just wanted by 1.5 hour massage to end.
