The first scar occurred when I was there for a facial that involved several stages over several minutes - the aesthetician was in and out of my room a number of times returning to other clients. When my facial was finished, paid for (not cheap) and I returned home, I checked my reflection in the mirror. There was a small blob of some type of gel on my cheek that I hadn't felt or noticed while driving home. After wiping this gel off I saw there was mark, then it bled. Eventually, it swelled and formed a blister, scabbed over. Thinking back, I suspect the aesthetician was doing a chemical peel on another client in between the stages of my facial, returned to my room with some potent gel on her sleeve or glove that came in contact with my freshly treated skin. The small blob of gel remained on my face for possibly 30 minutes before I noticed it since the facial I had produced stimulating sensation. My dermatologist said the scar appears to be a chemical burn because the skin texture is hard and white. Thank god it isn't any larger than it is. The second scar on my face is the size of a dime which that is from a laser being too intense in one area. My dermatologist said this scar is definately left from the laser is exactly the same size as the head of the laser attachment. This scar is pink, like a birthmark. When I discussed these issues with the owner of Aestheiq she said, "Well, that's what make up is for" and gave me a wink.

I had heard a lot of rave reviews about hydrafacials from friends and colleagues so wanted to try it and this was the best rated location closest to me. I was not disappointed! The experience was so much fun, so relaxing, and I loved that the bed/chair? Was heated! The extraction part was a bit painful but I think it's cause I've never had such a deep clean facial, super excited to come back again in 6 weeks again see the results in a few days!

I had a Halo Laser Treatment in early December 2025…read more Let me first say that everyone at the location were great. It is the treatment and recovery that were very disappointing and painful. I was warned of the post treatment burning sensation and of the possibility of inflammation. Those both happened to a degree which I don't feel I was warned about. On day 6, I developed what I thought was a rash/infection by my mouth. I contacted my doctor since it was a Sunday, and was advised to be seen in person. Turned out that I had gotten shingles (I have been vaccinated)! I was prescribed an Antiviral as well as some ointment. I had also sent an email to Belladerm. They did contact me on Monday and offered to call in a prescription for an Antiviral. I feel like some sort of partial refund for the issue would have been an appropriate gesture. I will say that my skin tone from the treatment is a little better, but not TWO THOUSAND dollars better (plus the cost of the doctors visit and prescriptions). It was not money well spent. I did learn my lesson.

So I have been to a number of dermatologists since I hit puberty. For me the acne thing has always…read morebeen an issue and is still a persistent one. (Though it is better than the way it was when I was young.) I have been seeing Dr. Rahil for a while now. I think it would be a year soon coming up this December. What I like about Dr. Rahil is she is very personable and understanding. She listens to what you have to say, with your experiences with acne med's, needs and/or wants. An example is when doctors recommend that I take Accutane, which I am strongly against, and I generally have to fight and fight them about it. I understand, that yes, I may not have issues when it comes to having to see the Dermatologist and using prescriptions and medications on my face. However, for me and what I know, I would rather do that than take Accutane. Since seeing her my acne has gotten better. We are trying a different treatment regime than what I have used before and it looks as if things are hopefully going to get better. I have had Dr. Rahil treat a keloid that I had on my left shoulder. No issues there or anything. Lastly, I have been seeing their on site esthetician, Natalie, for a while now when it comes to make up and laser hair removal. Natalie is great, and their products, exclusively at NMD, are great as well. I have been using their face cream for a while now and I prefer that compared to Aveeno Positively Radiant, which I was using for awhile. Their laser hair removal was a breeze, only been through one treatment, however I like it. Don't worry it doesn't hurt like how you think it should, barely hurts at all.

I have had them done at…read moremany places, have had different styles done, different add-ons, ect and this place is hands down the best. I have gone here a few times now and have had the pleasure of experiencing a few different massage therapists. All of the therapists I have met have been professional and amazing at what they do. The rooms and sauna are clean and well set up. The therapists and receptionist are all following covid guidelines and were wearing masks as well. My most recent massage (August 2021) they were still all wearing masks but were fine with me not wearing one as I was fully vaccinated. They do have a mailing/email list you can sign up for and doing that they will send you deals. They make it pretty easy to book online for things, although if you are using a groupon you should call them to book to get everything set up correctly. They make it easy to add anything to your booking after the fact/onsite. If it is possible for them to do it, they will. Groupons do not account for state tax so you will have to pay for that when you leave but you can use your card and add a tip at the same time too, so convenient for those that don't carry cash. For those of you looking at all reviews please read the mentions below: 1) There is no dedicated parking/lot for this business. It is located on the main street of No. St. Paul. There is lots of parking all along the street but if its busy you may have to walk a few yards. 2) Information buy/selling. When I signed up for their email list they stated they do NOT sell their clients information. One reviewer didn't know how this business got her info and wouldn't tell her, other than they didn't BUY her info. Probably true that they DIDN'T buy the reviewers info, they probably got it from a client using their reward program. You refer your friends email addresses and qualify for rewards. If I was a business owner, I would have handled it the same, few people would be satisfied with being told they were referred by a friend. Many people would want to know WHO it was and personally I wouldn't be comfortable with giving out my other clients info, but I would let them know that we would remove all of their information from our systems. You know just like it was originally handled. 3) Pricing. They honor all terms for what you purchase. So if you purchased a package on groupon and use it with in the timeline you don't pay anything extra (see the tax thing above). If you don't use it within the timeline (hasn't happened to me yet) they honor the price you paid to apply to a service they provide. Paid $89 for a 1hr massage and 30 min sauna but expired 3 weeks ago? You get $89 towards a service/package now and if that package is now $120 well, you still owe $31 now. That is life, read the small print, make sure you get there before it expires. That said, they are great about doing add-on's. I have used different deal certificates and was able to add on additional time or hot stones or aromatherapy easily. However, you DO have to do that either when you make the booking or be ok to forgo it if you are going to wait until checking in. Also just because you are checking a price doesn't mean that it will always stay the same, things change, economy changes. When I have done upgrades/add-ons to my deals when I booked my session I have never had the price changed when I got there. Now, I have been in situations at other small businesses where I placed an order or booked a session and the price changed by the time I got there a few days later and guess what?! They honored the old price because I had BOOKED/ORDERED before the change happened. Computers/registers tend to default to what is the current price, but pointing out you BOOKED when the prices were different and them being able to see the date of booking makes it easy for them to fix. Deciding to call a few times over a few weeks to find out pricing and never booking and then getting pissed that a week or two later they changed pricing and they're unfair is being a petulant child. Ever been to a gas station? No? Well, let me blow your mind. They change can change their prices everyday and they can do this because the price is stated clearly to their customer. Just because the priced changed doesn't mean they are shady or unfair, it's just economics. But getting bratty about it does mean that you are indecisive at best and stupid at worse. No one was baited and switched, rather you waited to your detriment to book your appointment and now have to pay more. That is life. Next time you'll know if you like the price you should put a ring on it, sorry, book it. Overall, this place is the best. Great massages and great ambiance. Super clean.
