Over the years, massage treatments have become a thing for my husband and me: We regularly purchase them for each other on holidays, special occasions, or just because. As a result, I've been fortunate to experience wonderful massages all over the world, including in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and NYC, sometimes at well-known spas. These places have nothing on Esperanza, whom I rank among the top five masseuses I've ever visited. She combines strength, precision and delicacy, and she is truly responsive to the tension in your muscles. Her specialty is deep tissue massage, but she is excellent at calibrating the pressure to whatever degree you find comfortable. She is not irksomely chatty and her approach is clinical in the best sense: The entire experience is about treating and healing the body and mind. Yes, the heated table is wonderful!

I found the website easy to navigate and scheduled my appointment online as well. I've had massages here and there but this was an EXPERIENCE. The whole place was very clean and minimalist. Esperanza took the time to talk with me beforehand and explained everything she was going to do during my treatment and asked if me about any trouble spots or likes/dislikes. The massage room itself was also very clean and the disrobing area even had a little dish for my jewelry (nice touch!). The table was heated and the sheets/blankets were soft and heavenly. There was groovy new age music playing and Esperanza asked me if it was too loud (it was perfect) and asked me to select an essential oil for some aromatherapy while being massaged: I chose Ylang Ylang -- sheer bliss. I can't recommend this place enough - I left there feeling like a different person, I went a week ago and my shoulders are still looser than they've been in months. I will be back again, for sure. All I kept thinking was what an amazing gift to receive and how I wanted to give massages to everyone I know and love! AND I need to find a way to rearrange the family finances so I can get massages here on a regular basis! I am so totally worth it!

As soon as the two female staff members came in to do our massages, one said something to the other in Mandarin and they both bursted out laughing while we were on the table. This happened multiple times throughout the session and felt very unprofessional. When clients are lying there vulnerable, it's not appropriate to be joking back and forth with each other. It made the experience uncomfortable. The massage itself was also rough and weird. At one point, the massage therapist literally hoisted herself onto my massage table, putting her legs on either side of my head (so my head is INBETWEEN her legs) and started digging her elbow into my shoulder blade so hard that I had to ask her to lighten the pressure. At first, I tried deep breathing through it instead of asking her to adjust but it was so incredibly painful that I couldn't take it anymore and had to ask. She did adjust the pressure, but hours later that area is still very sore, and my partner says his back feels bruised as well. He also had the same experience with his massage therapist putting her legs on the table with his head inbetween. Is this seriously standard for a massage? What really crossed the line, though, was what happened afterward. After the massage, the woman at the front demanded a tip. I explained that we didn't have our wallets with us, but instead of understanding, she became aggressive and confrontational. She had the audacity to say, "In America everyone tips. You tip here." The interaction felt more like being cornered and bullied rather than a suggestion. My poor partner immediately went to grab his phone and see if he could tip them via Apple Pay to get her to stop harassing us. I told her if this was a requirement, post it on the website or make it part of the fine print on the Groupon because the way she was trying to force us was wildly inappropriate. Let me be clear: The service was already paid for. And TIPPING IS VOLUNTARY. Pressuring customers and shaming them over it is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Your clients don't OWE you anything other than paying for the service, especially after screaming at them for gratuity. What should have been a relaxing visit ended with us leaving uncomfortable and shocked by how we were treated. Between the constant side conversations and laughing during the massage, the overly rough and painful treatment, and the aggressive demand for a tip afterward, the entire experience felt disrespectful and poorly run. This business opened in May 2025 so it's fairly new. I would recommend they make major improvements with how they treat customers if they want to last. If relaxation and professionalism matter to you, I would keep looking.

Because I lived so far and work M-F, I could only do a weekend appointment and Rebecca worked with me to accommodate this. I was coming straight from Boston to her studio for a massage and got stuck in awful traffic. She suggested we reschedule so I wouldn't miss any of my session and that I would feel more relaxed than coming out of a huge traffic jam and get more out of the massage. It was very considerate of her. I have had many massages from various places, but a few stand out to me and my massage from Rebecca was one of them. It was perfect. I fell asleep for a little while, which for me is a sign of a great massage. When the session was over, Rebecca waited for me in her office while I got dressed. When I went there to meet her she was doing yoga stretches which I thought was great. Too many of us neglect our bodies, especially throughout the work day. If I lived near New Milford, I would frequent this establishment. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.
